Welcome to Villa Paso Palma in Las Picuas, Rio Grande! This newly remodeled home is perfect for medium-sized groups looking to enjoy Puerto Rico.

This house is very close to the water (300 ft), perfect for kayaking and relaxation in general. It is near the El Yunque rainforest and the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar & Golf Resort.

It has everything new (including a brand-new private pool) and is within walking distance from the water (perfect for kayaks). With amenities like WiFi, a hair dryer, AC, and an entire-home power generator your comfort is guaranteed. Basic beach gear is provided to our guests including beach towels, cooler, Bluetooth speakers, beach chairs, kayaks, vests, and much more, Feel free to reach out to us during your stay - we're happy to suggest local spots to check out.

This house is the sister property of Palma Sola Retreat in Rio Grande (also hosting at Vrbo). Depending on calendar availability, larger groups can ask about booking these together (https://www.vrbo.com/4260806).

What a beautiful property!! We had a nice vacation for 3 couples and it worked wonderfully. The house had everything we needed and was so clean and bright. There is so much outdoor space on the property that it was awesome to be able to spread out.Brenda and Edwin were extremely responsive to any questions we had and great hosts!The drive in from the main highway, though only a few miles, is very bumpy! We tried to do our shopping all at once and mostly in the day (at first), as it is trickier to find in the dark!I recommend this property for friends visits, family get away, etc. And I would also love to work with Brenda and Edwin again!PS- the pool was a very comfortable temp and well used!

Great Home

Dont hesitate to book this wonderful home. Pool, beaches, rainforest, and great food alll around the corner. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful home. Would book again!

Clean property, good neighborhood, next to beach, lots of included activities including pool. Only glitch was the wi-fi, but really didn’t miss it.

Best temporary stay ever!

This has been, by far, our best stay at a temporary home. Good directions to the location, great welcome basket, immaculately clean, spacious, everything you could need in the kitchen for an extended stay. The beach is at eyes view, the pool was very clean. The outside areas are very spacious. The grill, washer and dryer came in very handy. Brenda was top notch and very responsive to all of our messages and needs. Highly recommended‼ Thank you Brenda for your hospitality. Will definitely return.

Check-in info given the day of arrival (the host told me this so communication was great!) lock box with code and 1 set of keys. Padlock for gate for security. House was immaculately cleaned. Bonus points for extra towels, beach towels, high chair, pack and play crib, 3 beach chairs, a beach wagon for hauling our gear to Luquillo Beach, good kayaks with life jackets for the beach near the house, a countertop ice maker (get bottled water for the ice machine and for drinking), good washer(soap provided), and dryer located in small building outside- third bathroom with shower is out there as well. Little things like a few games, a new sponge, sharp knives, clean cutting boards, nice cookware, paper towels, trash can liners, plenty of toilet paper and basic spices. We loved the patio areas with all the seating- even a domino/scrabble table. A rooftop deck was super nice to catch a bit of the water view. And the pool was AMAZING. We loved the in pool loungers. We really enjoyed the property.

Perfect for families

This was by far the cleanest rental property we have ever stayed at. Many of the items in the house, like the towels, looked brand new. Everything was well stocked and in good working condition. The outside was very nice with plenty of space to sit down and relax or play games. Some of our kids used the kayaks provided in the nearby beach access. The laundry room was also clean and had everything we needed to do some laundry before heading back home. We sat outside for long periods of time and the neighborhood was quiet as well. The owners were prompt to answer any questions. We would definitely consider renting from them again.

A Fantastic Experience

Our stay could not have gone any better. From the communication and ease of starting our stay to the quality of the home's offerings and incredible beach, everything was truly top-notch.My family includes two adults and two children (ages 3 and 10). The house could have easily accommodated several more comfortably. The house was impeccably maintained and the pool was thoroughly enjoyed during our five days visiting. The rooftop seating area was enjoyed every morning with coffees and a view of the ocean.The house is situated in a private setting with only 4-5 other nearby houses and very little (if any) traffic. Due to the remote nature of the property, each night provided the sounds of nature to be thoroughly enjoyed.We would absolutely recommend this property without reservation and my kids said they would love to stay in the house again in the future.

We spent 8 days at this relaxed home off the beaten path and had a great time. Communication with the hosts was quick and they were very responsive. Check in was smooth with instructions sent that morning and clear directions to the home along with the pictures of the outside helped identify it. The property itself was perfect for our family of 6(2 adults and 4 kids ages 8-18). We loved the pool and our 2 younger kids learned to swim there so that will always be a special memory. We have lots of souvenir bug bites from the outside area too, though cans of bug spray were conveniently placed to help. Inside the home, we loved the welcome snacks provided. The beds were amazingly comfortable and the home was very clean and smelled so nice when we walked in. We definitely missed having a dishwasher and oven, but were still able to use the cooktop several meals there to save on eating out. The only other thing missed would be more dressers for storing clothes. We appreciated that both bath and beach towels were provided. We loved the beautiful tile in the bathrooms, and the hot water and water pressure were great. We enjoyed family movie nights on the large TV (the internet kept up fine) as well as the board games. Our teen was a little disappointed with the beach but the youngest and I loved it for the sea slugs, crabs and fish we saw there that wouldn't be seen at a popular beach. It was not great for swimming but still beautiful. Overall, a wonderful time was had!

The hosts, Brenda and Edwin, were great! Great communication, speedy responses to my many questions, accommodating to an early check-in - above and beyond!The house was perfect, with plenty of room, amazing pool and lanai with lots of room to relax and sit in the sun. There was a lovely tray of goodies, including local coffee and snacks. The bedrooms and living area were lovely and comfortable.The location was perfect, far away enough from the main road that you only heard the ocean, birds, and frogs peeping at night but close to lots of restaurants, groceries, the beach and El Yunque.You will not be sorry to book this home. We can't wait to come back!

My family and I had an amazing vacation here. Host was responsive with everything. Amenities in this home are unlike any other. The host thought of everything you could need. My family and I planned to travel to another beach one day of our vacation and we changed our plans and stay at the house the entire vacation no one was bored. No one was on top of each other we had ample amount of room fitting the maximum number of sleeping occupancy. Next family trip we plan we will definitely be looking to stay here again. If you are hesitant or not sure on booking this home, just do it. We also booked their sister property amazing as well.
