The Space:

You've found your own desert oasis at Crimson Sunsets in Kanab, Utah. It's a terrific option for a large family or multiple couples/friends. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms all on one level. All the Bedrooms have brand new king sized mattresses and 2 additional rollout beds are stored in the closet. Each bedroom is also equipped with its own smart TV. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare amazing meals. Coffee is provided via Keurig and K-cups. The great room has a large open floor plan with a 95 inch smart TV. After a long day of adventure, relax and rejuvenate in the private pool (heated April-September) and private hot tub (heated year round).

The Neighborhood:

Crimson Sunsets is located in a new subdivision east of Kanab. There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops. We love some of the local tour companies; they can make your travel time far more productive and enjoyable. Many of them even offer early morning pick-ups from Kanab. Equestrian and biking trails are also available.



Getting Around:

This home has convenient access to Hwy 89A/89 which takes you to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Zion and Bryce National Parks, Lake Powell, as well as the north rim of the Grand Canyon. Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places. Page, AZ airport is 1.25 hours away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3.5 hours away.

Cancellations Terms: Please be advised there is a 3% cancellation fee regardless of the cancellation date. This cancellation policy does not apply to HVMB guests.



The pool opens in mid April or May through roughly October each season depending on the weather.

Unfortunately, we have had a few issues with guests who have damaged the hot tub or left it so dirty, we've had to have hot tub services come after hours to drain/refill or fix the hot tub. If we must service the hot tub due to damage or excessive dirtiness after your stay, you will be charged the actual service cost, with a minimum fee of $125. Dirt, urine, sweat, sunscreen, and lotion all contribute to water so dirty that a drain and refill is necessary. Please shower off before entering the hot tub. Thank you for understanding!

Kanab is situated and in the "Grand Circle" area and known as the "Hub of the Parks", centrally located among Zion National Park (35 miles), Bryce Canyon National Park (81 miles), the Grand Canyon (North Rim - 84 miles). You can also visit Pipe Springs National Monument (24 miles), the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument (12 miles), Vermilion Cliffs National Monument (54 miles), Coral Pink Sand Dunes (25 miles), Kodachrome Basin (98 miles), Lake Powell/Glen Canyon Recreation Area (68 miles), the "Wave"/Paria Wilderness (45 miles), Horseshoe Bend (73 miles), Cedar Breaks National Monument (69 miles) and so much more. Please note mileage is approximate and may vary by a few miles. Enjoy your dream vacation in Kanab, also known as "Little Hollywood"!
