This location was beautiful and close to Acadia national park. The unit was spacious with the best view! We appreciated the local recommendations provided by the host. We really enjoyed our stay!

Property was exactly how it was described on website. Beautiful view of the harbor. Sat on front deck and watched the sunrise. Walkable to town for coffee, ice cream, cute little shops and more. Clean and spacious. Had everything we needed. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful view, excellent location on the quiet side. Fresh, live lobster right down the road that we boiled back home. Only complaints I have are uncomfortable furniture and lots of stairs. They really need some comfy recliners in there after a long day of hiking Acadia. Internet is tied to a light switch that could trip you up, too. Otherwise, it's a great property.

this was one of the best rentals we have ever had. It was well located to all things relevant to acadia. Close to enough restaurants/pubs. The unit was really well stocked--plates, cutlery, pots and pans. All appliances were in good working order--even left us soap etc. for dishwasher, washing machine/dryer. Great view from living area plus front bedroom. The area was very quiet-we stayed late sept. to early oct. The unit has a lot of stairs which could be difficult for some. There was also a beautiful deck outside the living area, facing the water, with very comfortable chairs. There was also a table/chairs for dining outside.

Great location for those who prefer to be on the quieter side of the island. We had lovely sunrise views, and got to see the seals playing in the harbor every morning which was such a treat. The telescope was a nice touch to be able to see them better from the living room. Plenty of books with info on what to do in the park as well. Our only issue was with the hot water, and a plumber came to fix the issue while we were out hiking one afternoon. It was better after that, but we had issues again (this time may have been because we were doing laundry and taking showers, though). Overall, we would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The views were stunning, the home was spacious and clean, and this was by far the most well stocked Vrbo we have ever stayed in. Cooking in the kitchen was as easy as being at home everything was so organized and readily available. We will definitely look into staying here if we ever return to Southwest Harbor.

Cleanest rental we have ever had!! Great harbor views. Speedy communication with rental company in booking and to resolve a pool maintenance issue that was unavoidable. Southwest Harbor was a perfect little town. So happy we stayed here for the week. Would love to come stay again.

This property was an amazing place to stay and is just as nice as the pictures. From the decks outside the living room and main bedroom, you have great views of the harbor. The kitchen is very well equipped with all of the cooking, baking, and dining supplies you'll need: baking dishes, pots, skillets, cutlery, utensils, silverware, plates, bowls, etc. With four floors there's plenty of room for a large family to be together or spread out. The beds are comfortable, the showers are very well kept, and everywhere is clean. There are air conditioners that keep the home cool in the summer, and many baseboards that doubtless provide plenty of heat on cold winter nights. Across the street you have access to the pier in the harbor where you can fish or just take in the view, and controlled access means you won't need to fight any crowds. The home is located not far from the center or town, making it a short drive or bike ride to the shops and restaurants. If you make your way to Bar Harbor you'll be happy you can return to the quiet side of the Isla to relax. The hosts are excellent communicators and provide all of the information you need before you arrive, as well as instructions for checking out. If I return to the area I would certainly stay here again.

If I were coming back to Acadia, I would absolutely rent this place again. It was the cleanest VRBO I've ever stayed in and most well stocked. We preferred to be in a peaceful location, and it was certainly that. The view is beautiful! We literally drive all over the Island and to winter harbor, and the location was ideal for us. The teens loved having the fourth floor to themselves and slept up there. The laundry room was huge and the mud room was great! We also loved the decks with this being an end unit. Plenty of room for a family! The only thing v I couldn't find was an iron, but that was no big deal. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Highly recommend staying at the Grandview! Very well equipped. Super clean & comfortable. Beautiful view. Close enough to trails without being in the congestion of Bar Harbor.

The property is fabulous. But my only issue was operating the heating and cooling systems. It's anything but intuitive. This condo has two heat pump systems with 2 indoor units on one and 3 on the other. Additionally, there are 15 baseboard heaters, controlled separate from the Heat Pumps with each having its own wall thermostat.Better and more elaborate operating instructions would help.
