Very comfortable home with well equipped kitchen. Only complaint is downstairs couch needs to be replaced. Great neighborhood & area. Management was very responsive & easy to deal with. Definitely got my exercize with the stairs!

Comfortable home, great for a family. A couple of things to note that weren’t obvious from the photos and description: 1). The main living area (kitchen & living room) are up 15 stairs; (2) the fireplace and TV are not upstairs in the main living area; they are downstairs in a smaller room that doubles as an extra sleeping space if needed with a folding sofa.Very close (easy walking distance) to ice cream shop and beach!

This is one of our favorite places to stay in Aptos. The reverse floorplan gives you an open sunny kitchen/living room area and deck. Kitchen is very well stocked with cookware and everything you need to entertain. Downstairs bedrooms (2 adult rooms, one kid room) are roomy and comfortable with nice closets. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors friendly. We love this house. Our dog loved the deck. The beach! The beach stairs are very close and you are walking on the beach in moments. This year we saw whales in addition to dolphins and otters. Favorite places: Marianne's Ice Cream just a block away. Ambrosia Indian a few blocks away. We're addicted to Castelli's sandwiches. And, of course, Gayle's Bakery in Capitola.

Wharf to Wharf Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in this home for 7 nights. The living area upstairs was comfortable, plenty of room for the family and guests. With the curtains drawn back the living, dining, and kitchen area was full of light. The open windows let in a breeze. The balcony offered a view and sounds of the ocean. There is a toilet/sink upstairs. The downstairs had all the bedrooms. The sitting are had a pull out couch with a TV. There was no TV upstairs which we really missed. The stairs between the floors were steep and plentiful but didn’t deter one of the visitors who is 95 yrs old. Residence was close to restaurants and the beach.

The host was quick to respond and helpful. Their attention to our heating inquiry was quick and resolved. The location of the property was wonderful; it fit our needs perfectly. Walked to the beach often and walked for breakfast and ice cream. The accommodations were clean and well supplied. Many thanks.

Comfortable and accessible

Centrally located to beaches, state parks, shopping and restaurants. Lovely deck for our family get together. Comfortable bedrooms on ground floor. Easy registration and checkout. Kitchen very workable for meal preparation.

The property had an odor downstairs that wouldn't go away. The upstairs floor on check in was sticky as well. Charming Sunny Home

We had a great stay. The kitchen is well-stocked for cooking - every pot, pan and utensil you might need. The sunny, bright kitchen and living room are upstairs and three bedrooms downstairs. Very close to the steps to the beach and we enjoyed long walks. Great location. When emailing ahead of time the property management was very responsive. We’d stay again!!

A++++ PERFECT BEACH GETAWAY!!!

This house was beautiful & SO full of sunlight streaming through the windows & all the rooms including bathrooms, were sparkling clean! This house is WELL taken care of & it shows! We loved all the bedrooms downstairs & having the "tv room" with a cozy & comfy couch with the gas fireplace turned on, watching the playoffs was wonderful & so relaxing! They supplied everything one would need for a getaway & we will DEFINITELY be returning!!

Week by the beach

Nice enough. Upstairs deck with a view of the ocean. Confusing check-in process (management company emailed instructions 3 months before our stay, right after first payment - challenging to figure out how to get the key.) Kitchen was sufficient, beds ok. Nice the nicest place we’ve ever stayed at but was the right price point for a 7-day stay in the Santa Cruz area. Neighborhood & local shops were fantastic!

Wonderful trip

This home is so cute and located in a really quaint and conveniently located neighborhood. The only few things that I would have liked to be aware of in advance is that there is only one TV, not a big deal to me, but my husband does enjoy some TV in the evening. The other thing, is the WiFi was really weak, I did have to work a little bit on this trip, which was a little harder without good internet access. Overall this was a lovely trip and getaway spot, would 100 percent recommend.

Nice place, clean, well located. Master bedroom was great, roomy, and that bath was nice. The 2nd full bedroom was also roomy. Both were great for adults. The bunk bedroom was so-so for two adults but perfect for two kids. The upstairs kitchen had plenty counter space. The Dining area was great for 8! The couch/chair area was great for hanging out. The deck was huge and also had a nice sunny day bed and round table seating for outdoor dinner. The hood was nice and neighbors were friendly. The location was quite convenient, just about a 1/3 mile walk down to Seacliff St Beach. The shops at the four corners State Park Dr & Center were super. The Snow White, Marianne's Ice Cream!!, Manuel's Mexican had some great grub and their Top Shelf Margs were tasty! Bailey's Property Mgmt were excellent to work with. Aptos was super nice and we will return.

Family gathering

Detractors from our stay were, no blanket or pillow cases for the hide a bed, Sunday morning at 8:30am workers started removing and installing sections of the fence attached to the house. No communication from owners or rental managers about this

We regret that we were not aware of the construction happening in the neighborhood; unfortunately, we are not always notified of such projects. In regard to linens and pillows, has you reached out to us, we would have been more than happy to provide sofa bed linens and pillows or guide you to find them in the home. Dissatisfied

To our surprise it did not look like it showed on the pictures. The bed topper was stained and worn. There were ants in both bathrooms on the first floor and the bedrooms. Our son was taking a shower and we heard a noise coming from the garage and it was the water heater, it sounded like it was going to explode . The garage had paints cans and miscellaneous “items just laying around. The garbage can was full to the point we brought our trash home. The back yard just basically dirt and weeds. There was no contact from the property management on a daily bases as stated. The dish washer needs some help. The barbecue was dirty to the point that we did not use it and falling apart. In our opinion there should be a TV upstairs. For the price we expect more. The amenities is the garage are old and dirty.
