Serenity awaits - located just steps from beautiful Poipu beach with A/C!

Kiahuna Plantation Resort is all you dreamed Kauai would be, and our beautiful condominium is located in the lush gardens of this vacationer's paradise. Take in partial ocean views in the dining area and on on our very private Lanai. Our inviting beach is yours to enjoy-- just a few steps from our beautiful condo.

Our unit has been updated (Unit #168 in bldg. 26), making it a more desirable unit at Kiahuna Plantation. We have one of the most private Lanais in the resort. We also now have A/C! The bedroom features a brand new Cal king bed (April 2022). Our beautiful living room also has a new queen size pull-out mattress in the sofa. Our kitchen is fully appointed for your convenience. Lounge comfortably on the private patio/lanai. Take advantage of our in-condo washer and dryer. High speed Internet and TV both in living room and bedroom. Most recently we have updated some of the decor which you will see in the pictures of the bedroom and dining areas. Our video still reflects the old decor in these two spaces but still gives you a great view and vantage point of all that our condo offers.

To make your beach time more fun, grab complimentary towels and beach chairs at the Beach Hut 'shack' near the water. A child friendly pool with slide, a gym and tennis courts are offered directly across from the resort at the Poipu Beach Athletic Club. Two golf courses, Poipu Bay and Kiahuna, are just down the road.

We are happy to provide our client references at your request. Should you find that our condo is booked during your requested dates, let us refer you to another of our partnering condos in the resort.

Kiahuna Plantation Resort is the jewel of Poipu's sunny south shore on Kauai. Nothing compares to our beautiful gardens and location. This is a fun destination for families, a romantic getaway for honeymooners, and a memorable place to celebrate special occasions.

This beautiful condo is under new ownership but has the same beautiful appointments and service you have been used to if you are a return guest.

LOCAL ACTIVITIES
There is much to do if you have any time left after enjoying the beach and the amazing snorkeling right out in front of the Kiahuna Plantation. World-class golf is minutes away at Kiahuna Golf Club, or at the nearby Poipu Bay Golf Club. Make sure to explore Historic Koloa Town during your visit. Another interesting stop is the Spouting Horn, found just west of Kiahuna Plantation. Be sure to check out the free hula shows across the street in the Poipu Shopping Village. There are so many restaurants with amazing happy hours within walking distance for you to enjoy as well.

• Check-in time is 3:00 PM / Check-out time is 11:00 AM

HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES:
CLEANING FEES ARE IN ADDITION to all other fees paid through VRBO/HomeAway. These are resort charges and these cleaning fees do not go to owners. Cleaning fees are collected at check-in and go directly to Castle Resorts.
Current check-out cleaning fee for bookings after 12/1/2024 is $268. + HI Taxes = $316.14
A mid-stay replenishment of all amenities, linens and towels etc. is available for $62.00.
A mid-stay full clean is available to guests for $110.00.

VRBO BOOKING FEE: VRBO/HomeAway charges a booking fee to all Guests booking through their sites. This fee is shown as “Service Fee” in the Quote and goes directly to VRBO/HomeAway.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Travelers who cancel at least 30 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will get back 50% of the full booking amount. Otherwise, 14 days or less before check in will not be refunded including early departure prior to the end date of the reservation. Failure to pay second rental payment by due date will result in cancellation of booking and forfeiture of the first payment.

Beautiful condo and resort

Easy access to beach and beautiful landscaping on the resort. The condo is beautiful, clean, and very well stocked with everything you could need. The bed is comfortable too. Would stay here again!

Cute little condo located near a nice beach. Great location for dining, shopping, or just relaxing in the sun. Super comfortable bed! Owners were available for questions and their unit provided us with everything we needed for an amazing stay on the Garden Island!

Great resort and beautiful unit

Kiahuna Plantation is a great property with a perfect beach for swimming and surfing. We stayed in unit #168, which is well renovated, very tastefully furnished and has everything you need. What we also liked is that the patio is well protected against wind and shaded.

Perfect location!

We've stayed at Kiahuna many times over the years, and this is one of our favorite units. Definitely the most beautifully decorated and appointed! Love the ground floor, patio, and very short walk to the beach. We will be back!

Awesome condo close to the beach

This is a great condo with a great location close to the Marriott and close to the beach. We could easily walk to Poipu Beach and Keoki's Paradise restaurant across the road. Sitting out on the Lanai at night listening to the Luau at the Marriott. Would definitely come back!

Wonderful condo!

Condo #168 was perfect! The lanai is very private and close to the beach. The unit was well stocked and we enjoyed the beach chairs, umbrella, and boogie board. We look forward to returning next year.

Perfect spot

We loved staying in this condo. It felt clean and fresh and had everything we needed. This unit it very private and beautiful with the big trees, green lawn and ocean in the distance. You get all the benefits of a resort (e.g. swimming pool, clean towel exchange etc. without that commercialized 'resort feel'.

Great Location

We have stayed in this unit many times over the years, but this is the first time with the current owners. Everything was in perfect order plus it now has a/c. We love the private lanai and easy access to parking. We look forward to returning in June.

Fantastic stay in Kauai!

Our family really enjoyed our stay here! This complex has everything you'd want and restaurants/shopping is within walking distance. The condo itself was on a quiet section of the property and it was so close to the beach. It was very clean and the space was functional for a family of 4 with 2 kids. Check-in process, even after hours, was easy and communication with owners was wonderful. We appreciated having a washer/dryer as a lot of other units did not. What an amazing place! We'd love to stay again!

Great Location

We had a lovely stay here ! The property is located right on a wonderful swimming beach (Kiahuna Beach) and the Beach Hut provides complimentary beach towels and chairs as well as affordable rentals for snorkel and surf gear. The unit itself was immaculately clean, very nicely updated, and stylishly decorated. The 1-bedroom floor plan was a little bit tight for our family of four but we didn't spend much time indoors anyway. Kiahuna Plantation is a great property, lots of families, and very quiet at night. A walking trail connects to the adjacent resorts (we enjoyed the poolside restaurant Lava's at the Sheraton) as well as Poipu Beach. We hope to return!

Piece Poipu of Paradise

We loved our stay. The unit was just as advertised. We didn't use the pool as we found it inconvenient to cross the street. We preferred to spend our time on the beach, especially for the amazing sunsets. We appreciated the beach chairs and the umbrella is a must! We found the bed comfortable, and the bedroom temperature was cool enough by evening. The hosts were great and accommodating to our request to have a late checkout. Thank you for a lovely stay!

This was a lovely, well appointed condo in a fabulous location. The owner was wonderful.... Helpful and prompt! And very kind. There are lots of nearby options for eating out and fun things to do. Tip: DON'T stop by Wal-Mart to get the essentials, beach great, etc. There are many options near Poipu with even better selection and prices. Visit the Little Fish across from the resort..... Great smoothies!

Loved My Stay

Firstly, the owners are fabulous! They accommodated my needs in every way possible, going above and beyond. The resort is beautiful and well-maintained, and the condo is perfect. It is nicely decorated, and the sliding windows onto the lanai provide a beautiful view. The bed is very comfortable, and even though there is air conditioning, I didn't feel the need to use it. Being on my own, I felt safe on and off the grounds. I walked to the mall across the street and went to restaurants nearby. There is a private beach that is less than 5 minutes away, and you can easily walk to Poipu Beach and snorkel or see the turtles and seals basking in the sun.

Birthday getaway

Everything was awesome. Condo was clean, and had everything we needed. Awesome location. Very quiet and private. Exactly as we had hoped for. We have never rented like this before, and after 5 minutes I was completely comfortable. No need to ever look anywhere else. The bed was very very comfortable. We didnt need anything. It was a wonderful home away from home and would go back and recommend to our family and friends as well. Very relaxing spot and beautiful grounds and perfect location. Hidden Gem

This home away from home is perfect in every way. You have everything you could possibly need and it is in impeccable condition. We usually are in Kauai in February so the July heat and humidity was a bit of an issue. If this home had AC, I would rate it a 10! I had forgotten part of the Kiahuna Plantation charm were the plantation shutters and no air conditioning! We Seattlites aren’t used to the heat of Hawaii in summer. The ocean is so close though, so we were in the water often. On our last morning we snorkeled with an older spotted eagle ray right off the beach!! It was at least 5 feet wing to wing and 12 feet nose to tail tip. Amazing!

My husband and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary and Karin sent us a beautiful island bouquet of flowers and a really nice note. It was a very thoughtful touch. The location of this unit is great. It’s approximately 200 yards from the beach and the patio is very private which we enjoyed our morning coffee daily and cocktails in the evening. If you’re looking for a condo that’s well maintained, with a great location we highly recommend this unit. The only recommendation I would make is since the AC unit is located in the living room area of the condo, I would purchase a box fan for the condo so the cool air can be pulled into the bedroom. The fans that are in condo don’t pull the cool air from the living room to the bedroom. The bedroom is a little warm for sleeping.All in all we had a wonderful time!

We are excited to be the new owners of this beautiful condo located just steps away from Poipu Beach on Kauai's south shore. We have been traveling to Kauai for 18 years and have always enjoyed all the gifts the "Garden Isle" has to give.

When we were planning our "retirement" we decided that we loved Kauai so much we wanted others to enjoy and experience it like we do. That's when the perfect opportunity presented itself to become the new owners of this beautifully updated condo.

Our condo is located in the Kiahuna Plantation property that has wonderful lush gardens, large shaded monkey pod trees and open lawns that lead right up to the beach. The entire property is quiet and serene. It is located within walking distance to many restaurants, shopping and other amenities.

Our condo has been renovated and updated compared to some of the other units in the property. It has a recently added split unit A/C which is a plus when the trade winds are not strong. It has an open concept that makes the condo very comfy and inviting. Our lanai has beautiful tropical flora that make it feel private when you are sitting enjoying coffee in the morning or a tropical treat in the evening.
