Wonderful Easter Week

Summary of the property is correct. Condo is dated but clean and very comfortable for our needs. Condo is right on the beach and view is incredible. Location is great; you can hop into the car and be in Fernandino Beach in 3 minutes. We had no distractions from neighboring condos.

Thanksgiving Reunion Getaway

The property is well located and well maintained on the exterior. The suite we occupied was very comfortable and well-equipped but it could use a little TLC from a maintenance perspective. The wallpaper in both bathrooms should be replaced since it is curling at the seams. The medicine cabinets are rusty inside which were a turnoff had we chosen to use them.

Great beach, great location, unit needs refurbishing

Have stayed at Oceans many times. The location is ideal, the beach is pristine. The property is 40 years old, and this unit has no updates, other than TVs. It’s acceptable, it could be much more.

Location, location, location

Although the unit was somewhat Ed dated it was clean and well maintained. The star though is the view from the 3rd floor lanai directly to the beach with incredible sunrises. Great restaurants within walking/biking distance. The management was wonderful. Would rent again

Perfect place to stay

Stayed here Labor Day weekend. It was absolutely perfect. Great location and very clean unit. We will definitely be staying here again.

Great Time

Everything was great. From making on-line reservation to checking in and out, so easy and efficient. We love the Oceans of Amelia. Always a great experience.

Beautiful View, good value

Good: You can hear the waves from the kitchen. The showers were hot and had good water pressure. The covered parking spot (located on the north entrance) is one of the best on the property; we were able to get in and out easily in a minivan, but some other parking spots were very tight... I watched a Tahoe do a 12-point turn to back out of their spot. You can walk (6 mins) to two restaurants, mini golf, covered playground, beach, gas station, bike rentals, and surf shop. TV has hundreds of cable channels. There is an elevator in the bldg. There is a front desk for check in. There are shopping carts available to help get your luggage upstairs. Unit located next to the stairs for quick access to the parking spot. Carpet in the bedrooms looked newer. Bad: The noise coming through the adjoining door to the neighbor’s was very loud, it made eating breakfast at the kitchen table unenjoyable when WW3 was happening next door. The bedrooms are located along the outside walkway so when people are running, yelling, and talking next to your windows at midnight it will wake your kids up. I recommend bringing a noise machine; there were fans available that we used to drown out some of the noise. Unit was very old and outdated along with the furniture and equipment. The pool was freezing and a little dirty; the ocean water was warmer (early April). Overall I give it five stars for the amazing view and the value. You won’t be able to find another beachfront view property with 2 bedrooms for the same price. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect for the price

I agree with other reviewers that the property is exactly what I expected for the price I paid. It had everything we needed, was clean, and everything was working. This property is a little older and is not for folks seeking a posh resort experience, but it was exactly what I was looking for. Communication was excellent, staff was friendly, and most importantly, the VIEW WAS AMAZING! I would definitely stay again.

Property was in good location. Very good beach access. I was disappointed in what was provided. I ended up having to buy my own toilet paper, tissue, paper towel and garbage bags.
