The unit was beautiful. The view was even better. The master bedroom was very nice. The second bedroom the beds in there were not comfortable at all. For the price of the stay I expected better sleeping comfort. It was very clean. The building is older. Some things were a little confusing at checkout. Overall pleasant experience. The area is gorgeous. For the price we paid overall I’d probably stay somewhere else next time.

Amelia South is great.

Great location, beautiful pool area, easy beach access. Older building, nice looking updates, and our condo looked great.

Fun trip and an amazing view

My Mom and I spent a week here. Very nice condo with a great balcony overlooking the ocean. We cooked and had what we needed as far as kitchen supplies. Everything worked. The complex had a well used pool and people also staying there were nice. A short walk to the ocean and I was able to run, walk, and paddleboard.

Nice reset

This is a great place for beach access but also so many ways to enjoy the ocean even if you don’t want to go out on the beach. We ate dinner in two nights bc of the table on the covered balcony. Like where else will you have an oceanside table with no waiting?! The balcony is private so you aren’t staring at or hearing neighbors. The group that manages it does take a little longer to respond but they did respond to each question and we didn’t have anything urgent. Very clean and open. As good if not better than the pictures. There’s not even a starter of shampoo/conditioner or hand soaps for the bathrooms so I didn’t find the condo well stocked like some of The other reviews. Bring extra dish detergent if you want to wash dishes more than once. Bring beach towels as I didn’t see any. Maybe there were Beach chairs and equipment, but I didn’t see any of that either. I would just say don’t assume that this condo will have what you need as far as complementary supplies. The guestroom Bed mattresses felt cheap and unsupportive. We had kids sleeping on them, so it wasn’t that big of an issue, but they complained that the beds were not comfortable. The King bed in the main bedroom was a very comfortable bed. The views are worth bringing extra supplies and maybe extra padding for the guest beds. It was very quiet And convenient location. Service fees are too high so I wouldn’t return to this particular unit and pay the price again But if you have the money, this is a great unit.

Excellent stay

My family of five stayed for one week in April. The condo is in excellent condition and in the perfect location; walk out to the beach, short drive to "downtown". My kids very much enjoyed the pool as well. Highly recommend.

Our Stay April 2022

Loved the location of our rental - beachfront. Enjoyed having our morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the ocean. Great restaurants in town. Kitchen was well equipped with just about everything you need. Would definitely go back and stay at the same unit.

Great location on Fenendina beach!

Easy and relaxing. This building was built in the 70s. However, the building was in decent shape and this particular unit was very nice. Newer appliances and a perfect layout for a family of 4. If you are looking for a high-end luxury condo on the beech, this might not be the place for you. That said, it is a very nice unit with great views of the beach and sun rise. We did not do much exploring, so I cannot speak to what is in the area. If you are looking for a relaxing beach vacation with easy access to the beach and a well-maintained pool, this is definitely the place for you. We really enjoyed setting up at the relatively quiet beach in the morning and moving to the pool in the afternoon when it was shaded. Unit was well appointed with everything you could possible need. We cooked at least 5 nights and had everything we needed in the kitchen. I high recommend this condo for a clean relaxing stay at the beach. Oh - and these units are about half the cost of going to Isle of Palms or Destin.

Great Location, Fantastic View, NOT CLEAN

Condo was NOT clean, I heard sand crunch under my feet as soon as I walked in...swept & found huge clump of long hair. Glass in Master Bath shower was NOT clean--big drips of something all over glass. Dropped my glasses and stooped to get them & found lots of dust bunnies under bed in Master Bedroom. Quite a bit of furniture needs updating, On dining chairs & balcony furniture the rattan is unravelling. Location of Amelia South was great, view from Balcony was fantastic!

Fernandina visit

The condo was as advertised Dash everything up-to-date. The beach was fabulous and the location was ideal for everything we wanted to visit. We booked it again during Christmas week.

Great location

The property is well represented on the website. The location is perfect. Unfortunately or fortunately (depends on how you look at it), we were during the beginning of the pandemic so the beaches and property were not crowded at all. Restaurants were just beginning the curb side or pick up mandate. Grocery stores were out of toliet paper, paper towels and a lot of other supplies. Lucikly, we had just enough TP to last until we left:) I love Amelia Island and will return.

Mostly positive

Nice clean place with excellent view and excellent beach access. The only reason for not giving the fifth star is the bare minimum supply of staples that are normally provided when paying that amount of money for a rental unit. Harris Teeter was close by so not a hardship but reason enough not to go all in on the rating. If 4.5 was an option that’s what I would have chosen.

Clean, updated unit.

We loved the layout of the condo. We sat on the balcony daily and enjoyed the ocean views. The ceiling fan made our time outside much more pleasant!
