Our 2nd time staying here! Cute place. Right in Carnelian Bay. I don’t think communication come from the host it’s Vrbo. Other than that when I did call Vrbo they were great! We will be back

The property had a good location. Nice views. The property definitely needed new carpets , paint and better sheets.. The sheets were very old and some were ripped. The units furniture was nice and it had nice personal touches. We enjoyed our stay while we felt that it really needed updating.

Lovely cozy cabin. From the porch you could actually see Lake Tahoe on a clear day. You have to drive to the community hot tub (also includes a game room and sauna) but we didn’t mind.

Cozy place, nice location

A great stay!

I was in a group of 3 adults skiing at Palisades Tahoe and this rental was great for us! The property was very clean, accurate to listing, and easy to find. The host did a great job of sending all necessary info ahead of time (extra helpful if you save it in case you lose cell service on your way!).

Great End Unit

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love this unit! It has a lovely view from the deck off the living room, and the extra window in the dining room because it is an end unit. It has everything you need, and it is easy to use the TV. The furniture is tasteful and comfortable, and the unit is private and quiet. It's a short drive, or a moderate walk, to the wonderful pool. There are plenty of places to walk, including the par course. Our only minor complaints are loud bathroom fans, and the downstairs floor creaks pretty loudly when you walk on it, which could be a problem if you are a light sleeper and someone moves around in the night.The management company was very responsive. The ice trays were falling apart, and they had new ones at our doorstep within a few hours, even though we said we didn't need them replaced till after we left.

Warm and inviting

The space was incredibly quiet and cozy, perfect for unwinding after a day on the slopes. It was warm and inviting, making it easy to relax. The location was unbeatable—just a short drive to ski resorts which made getting to and from the slopes so convenient. Overall, it was a great place to stay, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable spot.

The carnelian woods condos are good, the rec center is a nice plus — good pool tables, a sauna and hot tub all there.This particular condo has a great location — because it’s at the very end, you have views of the forest out every window. Great place!

Loved staying here. It was my partner and so it worked out great. It’s a loft with a twin bed in the second bedroom and a pullout couch. The loft had a queen bed and master bathroom. Lovely area and close to everything. We have a slight view of the lake from our balcony.

The place was clean. Location great. But really need to update and do maintenance on the bathrooms. The patio furniture could be updated. It was dirty, plus the cushions were dirty and very thin. Thank you

Overall a great stay!

Pros: Clean, end unit, beautiful views of the lake and trees, convenient location, easy access, kitchen was well stocked with everything you need, laundry machine and dryer were nice having, fireplace kept us warm and cozy. Cons: Unit can use some updating: lots of scuff marks on walls, loft master bed was too firm, only one TV in unit and it was very small, door for downstairs bathroom kept sticking when opening/closing, and downstairs floor is very squeaky.

Check-in was smooth and hassle-free, with clear and timely communication throughout the process. The space was spotless, airy, and perfectly sized—ideal for the two of us, and it would easily accommodate a family of four.The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, including a coffee maker, dishes, silverware, and a spacious refrigerator. The Wi-Fi worked flawlessly for streaming Netflix and casual browsing.One of our favorite parts was sleeping with the windows open, surrounded by the peaceful trees of and near Lake Tahoe. It created the calm, relaxing atmosphere we were hoping for—exactly what we needed to recharge.

relaxing condo with perfect view of the lake

Condo was very clean especially the kitchen and bathrooms. However it needs a new paint job and a little updating in the bathrooms. Furniture very comfortable. Could use a fan either from the ceiling in loft bedroom. This June it was very hot and a fan would have been lovely. Also the noise from both bath fans was very annoying. It came on every time you turn on the bathroom light. I'm sure this can be fixed.

You could it had just been cleaned when we got there.The kitchen is well equipped and the bed has a hard but confirmable mattress.Extra pillows and blankets were available and the towels were good.The location is very quiet and close to the lake. Other attractions are not far away but you definitely need a car.I was planning to have some peaceful and quiet time and a place to rest. This cabin was perfect dor this purpose.
