Beautiful rooftop, excellent location, clean apartment. Communication with host was perfect and I would book this place again. Love San Juan and this is a great place to stay. Easy walk to Balneario del Escambrón and into Old San Juan, plus the Puerta de Tierra area has lots to offer. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay, near old town. The apartment is on top floor so could be difficult with kids. Well stocked and good communication.

First of all, the host Rosemarie was so helpful going the extra mile when we had questions or requests. Second, the apartment is pretty, comfortable, easy walking distance to Old San Juan and Embarcon Beach. We found everything we needed here and could truly relax and also easily do the things we wanted to. The roof deck is great. A wonderful stay.

Wonderful stay!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The location and apartment were accurate to the description- really cool to have your own private terrace and view! The location was great- about a 20 minute walk to old San Juan, and a short uber drive to the airport. Everything was clean and communication was excellent. Would highly recommend!

This place is a gem!

If you want to be near Old San Juan and have a private rooftop, you won’t find anything better than this. Host is extremely kind and accommodating and if I’m ever back in San Juan this is where I’ll be staying.

Comfortable clean and peaceful

Rosemarie place felt like home safe clean and a rooftop that is relaxing. She's a gem and very welcoming and easily accessible. The apartment is fully stocked with the essentials and they area is easily accessible to Old San Juan.

Amazing time

This was our second time staying at Rosemarie’s place. We really had an amazing time, Sunny and warm our entire time. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay and being flexible with us!!

This is an amazing place to stay! It’s close enough to Old SnJuan that you can walk or just get a scooter and be there in minutes. It’s easy to get to with uber unlike downtown old a Juan. Close to the beach and there are several delicious restaurants on the same street and a fantastic hamburger shop a few blocks up. Gas station and grocery close by. Can’t say enough good things about the views and the owners!! You will not find better views in all of San Juan! The owners are so nice and accommodating! Can’t wait to return!!

Great rooftop apartment

This is a unique cozy apartment with a great private, rooftop space. The rooftop really makes the place special. Centrally located, a few minutes from everything. Charming and walkable neighborhood.

Wow!

The owner is extremely nice and helpful with recommendations. The property is perfectly located where all of old San Juan is a short walk away. There is a bar nearby but if you have earplugs its ok and its only loud on Friday and Saturday. Loved my stay here, definitely will be staying here when I visit next!

This was our third year renting from Rosemarie and we had again an amazing time. Rosemarie is very responsive and always accommodating! We would definitely come back again!!

This apartment was stocked with everything, paper towel, toilet paper, coffee filters, seasonings, , management was very quick to respond.

nice and clean

Beautifully decorated and spotless. The surrounding neighborhood has had some hard times. Several buildings were boarded up but anyone we ran into was cordial and helpful.

It's a TRUE Penthouse!

A real apartment where you are the only one that has control of the whole roof at the building. Extremely spacious area. The BBQ is a plus amenity with a small grocery store across the street.

Amazing Terrace!

We had so much fun here! Spent most of our time on the terrace, which is spacious and just beautiful. But when it rained we were nice and cozy inside as well. Rosemarie is so gracious and helpful, and very responsive. Many walkable eateries are nearby, we Ubered everywhere else. This is a fantastic landing spot in a convenient location. Will stay here again for sure!

Second Time: Consistently Excellent

We first stayed here in 2022 and were very happy with the apartment and the neighborhood. Three years later we returned and once again were super impressed with the cleanliness and noticed the host had even made some upgrades. We love the neighborhood because it’s close to everything but is not flooded with tourists. Rosemarie goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and is responsive.

A Little Gem

Our host made our stay very easy and enjoyable. The property had everything we needed for a day at the beach or a barbecue on the roof top patio. The beach was just short walk away and scooters were nearby to ride into Old San Juan. Overall, the property was comfortable and had nice touches for a pleasant stay. Our host was available and responded quickly to questions. She even let us stay later when our flight was delayed which was greatly appreciated.

A quick trip to Old San Juan

Property was convenient location to public transportation, although in a sketchy neighborhood. We felt safe and the apartment was secure. The terrace was delightful, but getting up four flights of stairs was daunting. Beds were comfortable, couch was not. Host Rosemarie was very helpful and attentive.

Hi Teri! Puerta de Tierra is a neighborhood in transition, as explained in our site. Never have we had an issue with the residents. Same goes as to the description of our 65 flights of stairs with landings on each floor. This is stated in our site also. The couch is going to be replaced. I am aware it is not a plush sofa but I am still looking for some furniture that will withstand the many guests that vIsit the apt and are not too careful with things. It has to be sturdy, practical and easily cleaned. I hope to find one soon. Nonetheless, I’m glad you enjoyed your stay!

Amazing rooftop

Beautiful rooftop with porch swing, grill, chairs, ext. Host had a bottle of wine in the fridge to enjoy when we arrived. If you want to be among the local people and enjoy a clean apartment with a great rooftop it will be hard to top this. And beach chairs and cooler are in the closet. Very nice here.

Cute place

The appearance of the apartment was very quaint. The patio was roomy and decorated very comfy. There was no air conditioning in the entire apartment, only in the bedrooms, which was not stated in the description. I shortened my stay because of it but the host was very accommodating and understanding.

Girls trip

Everything about our stay was perfect. We just werent prepared for how tight the street was but we just closed the mirrors in and everything was fine. There are a lot of stairs up to the 3th floor apartment but I liked the extra security with the locks, etc. Just be careful if you are tall so you dont knock your head. The roof top view is amazing and she has such a cute set up with the decor, etc. People in the neighborhood are friendly also. Id definetly stay here again.

When we first saw this property, we fell in love with the rooftop. This private, unique space above all helps you get away from it all while still being in the city! The views and wind are magnificent and the sunsets are spectacular!

The private access and use of the whole building's rooftop for those staying at the PH are a treat. Relax in the hammocks while watching the stars at night… Bask in the sun while reading a book sitting on the lounge chairs... Splash water from the water hose if you feel like... Make a BBQ dinner while enjoying a sunset... the choice is yours... you have all the rooftop for yourselves!
