We had a wonderful stay at this home. The location is great for travelling around the big island. The Villas area is quiet and friendly and this particular villa is close to the pool, which is nice to walk over to. The home itself was clean, had beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrella, snorkels & flippers. It had all the amenities we needed for cooking. We enjoyed quiet mornings on the shaded patio. The host was wonderful! Excellent & quick communication. Mahalo!

Very clean with lots of amenities.

The rental was very comfortable with amenities to cover your stay without having the expense of buying more to finish your stay. Beach accessories were very nice. Made our stay!

Beautiful Townhouse and Location

Excellent--that's the best word to describe our experience at this townhouse at Colony Villas. The townhouse was super clean and well looked after, and it had all the conveniences we needed to have a carefree, very enjoyable stay. We look forward to going back!

Great location in Waikola

The condo was clean, comfortable, and well equipped - the complex amenities (pool, barbecues, fitness facility) were well-maintained. Only a short walk to the Shops at Kings and Queens. Couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our two week vacation.

Great area but some unit property issues.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Check in time was at 4:00 pm but received a call an hour before check-in and was told that the unit was not ready. Upon checking in we was told by the property manager that the cleaners had to come back and complete some discrepancies she found.While they were completing that, i did a walk through and found more discrepancies. I took photos and sent in to your link.After a couple of days, the Master main suite toilet was clogged and a plumber came out to repair it. Worse plumber I have ever encountered. Upon completion, he left our bath towels soiled, the toilet soiled (not cleaned), and foot prints of soiled feces along the path he walked out. Which we had to clean.We also encountered bugs walking around (pictures sent). I have rented other units in this property and I have never had these problems.Other than the above items, our stay was good.I like the area, the property manager was great and polite.If you did not receive the photos, please contact me and send me a link so i can send it.

Mahalo for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely apologize that your arrival and the condition of the unit did not meet the standard we strive to provide. Unfortunately, during our final inspection prior to your arrival, we identified items that required the cleaning team to return. Rather than have you check into a unit we knew was not ready, we made the difficult decision to notify you before your scheduled arrival so we could address those issues. While we know that delayed your check-in, we felt it was the better option than providing accommodations that did not meet our expectations. We are especially disappointed to hear about your experience following the plumbing repair. The condition you described after the plumber's visit is completely unacceptable and does not reflect the standards we expect from our vendors. We have addressed this internally and appreciate you bringing it to our attention. Regarding the insects, Hawaii's tropical climate means the occasional pest can find its way indoors despite regular professional pest control, particularly if doors or windows are opened. That said, we do take every report seriously and investigate each one so we can determine if additional treatment is needed. We truly appreciate your kind comments about our property manager and are glad you still enjoyed the property and the area overall. Thank you as well for documenting the concerns with photos. If for any reason they did not come through, we'd be happy to review them, as guest feedback helps us continue improving both the home and our service. Mahalo again for staying with us, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a much smoother experience on a future visit.
