They are a tough subject as everyone likes different types so we had hoped the optional pillo top would help them adjust to a greater range of desires and are happy that they seem to be doing so. Thank you folks for taking the time to write a re/view of our home. Also the resort has just added a palapa where guests can purchase food and beverages a la carte by the pool /beach areas regardless of all inclusive status. it is not as extensive as the all inclusive restaurants and bars provide but greta for lunch or snacks and drinks etc.

We try to think of anything that may make our guests stays easier, more convenient, easy, and pleasurable in every aspect of the home. So much in daily life today is much less than what is expected and hoped for. We hope that here , at least for a little while, you receive more. Hi Stephanie, I am very sorry to hear this. We will be speaking with the AGM of the resort this week in regards to your comments as this is unacceptable. We, as owners, pay a substantial sum of money every month to the resort for use of the facilities which includes a portion of the amounts paid to the staff. This meaning we are , in effect, partially their boss and the fact that anyone, regardless of whether they are guests of the resort or private homes , is treated poorly or is experiencing rules being applied at random and not equally throughout is out of line and needs to be dealt with. I have also contacted the board director for our association who works in conjunction with the resort corporate representatives so he may advise them of the experience. I now that we and many of our fellow owners and managers work very hard to ensure a great experience for our guests and will not allow for poor staff behavior and/or poor leadership undo this work with attitudes that do not belong in a guest service situation and need to change or the people need to be changed, period. Thank You for bringing this to our attention and we sincerely apologize your vacation was affected by poor behavior of paid staff. We are dealing with thios post haste.

Hi Folks, I am a bit surprised at the very low rating. I apologize, again, for the issues experienced and honestly do not believe it was appropriately given. There is no way to avoid issues beyond our controll such as a malufunctioining refrigeration/cooling unit at the complex next =door, and neighboring propoertiues do not make it a habit of informing all those around them so there would be no way for us to know unless a guest were to inform us .For this reason, we have our contact information listed in several documents and our guest guide and we are always ready and willing to help whenever possible. In this case, we could have transferred you to another condominium in the building until repairs were made and could gave done so easily. As for the beds we have in five years been told that they were hard. /they are not inexpensive beds but everyones tastes in beds varies, and unfortunately we cannot keep a stock of various types . However we had been discussing installing toppers on the beds in order to allow our guests to have choice as to a more or less firm bed that was easily changed as per guest desires. This was discussed with you when you mentioned the bed at the end of your trip. This moved the issue forward in our priorities and we have well researched, high end , toppers on the way in the next week or so for all future guests. As far a a musty smell, we visited the property and detected nothing out of the ordinary and also had an associate join us who felt the same. The guests following your stay have also said they have noticed no issues in the few days they had been there. What I do know i that ALL clothes here will get that scent on them if left at all damp. ?And in Vallarta, everything is always at a different stage of damp, due to climate. This is one of the main reasons for there being so many inexpensive lavanderias , or wash -n- folds in the city as we simply cannot wear anything more than once or let it air dry as it will develop a musty scent in very short order and it will intensify in luggage I can say from first hand experience. One would have hoped that our commitment to an excellent guest experience and correcting any issues brought to our attention and our direct conversation would have allayed the need to give such a poor score, but apparently that was not evident and the damage has been done. For all future guests all issues above have been addressed and we look forward to continuing to host our new and return guests!

Hi Adisa, Thank you for taking a moment to write a review for us. We are happy you enjoyed our home but definitely not happy, to put it mildly, to hear about the situation with your son. I just completed an email to the general and assistant general manager asking for explanation and rectification . We pay a great deal of money to the resort every month which goes to maintenance , cleaning and staffing of these areas and therefor usage of these areas and related amenities so there is zero explanation why the staff member would have done this much less with a child. Unacceptable. To clarify on the 8 PM closure comment, the resort as a whole is not closed to any guests of the resort or private homes, I think you are referring to the outdoor pool and dining areas. The resort does close off the pool and outdoor dining and restaurant areas at 8 for a few reasons, partly for safety as the pool areas are closed and unstaffed at that point and the only other areas open are the restaurants, bars and theatre area for nights there is a dinner show. As their only purpose/service offered is food and beverage service they are only available/necessary to those participating in the available all inclusive program . Be assured that we will be following up on the incident with your son and we apologize for their poor behavior.

Thank you for your review! A VERY good point about the river. Ive reworded those directions in our recommendations guide. As rainy season can run from June through mid November but it may not be raining here but is further inland and that rivagoon can be daunting even if it hasnt rained locally the entire time one is there.
