This our third time in Exuma. The Tortuga house exceeded our expectations, the views can't be beat, the sunsets, star gazing, the bonefish flats, the private beachfront elevated our vacation. Not to mention the house was fully equipped to cook all our meals effortlessly.

What a fabulous first Exuma experience! We absolutely fell in love with The Tortuga House. The owners and property manager were phenomenal with their recommendations for anything we asked. We especially appreciated the stocked kitchen for cooking meals, comfy beds, fishing and snorkeling gear, kayak, and the STUNNING view! We were on the dock every evening after our excursions. This place is something special! BOOK IT!

This is the second time we've stayed at this home. We love the privacy and the home is well equipped! The communication was great and was able to bring some friends with us this trip. It would work great for a family as well. We will return!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful waterfront cottage. The property is peaceful, private, and exactly as described—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The views are stunning, and being so close to Georgetown made everything super convenient.Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the home had everything we needed. A special thanks to the property manager, Lott, who was incredibly helpful, responsive, and made sure our stay was seamless from start to finish.Highly recommend this place—we would definitely come back!

Tortuga House was just exactly what my husband & I needed, a very quaint little cottage with everything you need. As it is on the less windy side of the island we were always able to comfortably be out side and enjoy the beautiful view. A very peaceful, comfortable & cozy place we will always have fond memories of. Thanks so much for sharing this special home with us.

This was our 3rd time to Exuma so we wanted to try something off the main road now that we are comfortable with the island. We were not disappointed. This property is a hidden gem. The views were amazing and quietness was so refreshing. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. Driving to the property was actually really easy. 5 mins from the main road and total of 10 mins max to Georgetown. We had great communication with the owner and property manager which if anything was needed we knew we were in good hands. Can't wait for future stays here. 10/10

We loved our stay!! The house is decorated so cute and had all the things (and more) that we would ever need for an island stay. Our daughter has a food allergy, so being able to cook while there was important. The kitchen was clean and had so many different cooking pots, pans, utensils, dinnerware, it was perfect. We all agreed the couch, bed and pillows were comfortable. My son he looked at the label of the pillows because he says we need them. The best part is the view! There were several different places to enjoy it was outside and inside. The found live crabs, seashells and all kinds of other things while exploring. Lisa and the property manager were fantastic and very flexible. We will definitely be back.

A Week in Peaceful Paradise

My wife and I just spent an amazingly peaceful week at Tortuga House . The cottage was lovely , the hosts were prompt and caring and the location was beautiful . We will definitely be returning .

About this house - I have only three words of advice. BOOK IT NOW!!!The photos do not really do it justice, it is so comfortable and clean The lawn and yard down to the beach and boat slip are beautiful and very well kept. The southern views are some of the most beautiful views on the island with the added bonus of being the ideal place for both beautiful sunrise for the early risers and perfect sunsets ever evening. The two bedrooms was perfect for the two of us and we felt right at home the instant we walked in. The washer/ dryer makes your travel so much easier. Everything you need to bring can easily fit into one small bag (leave your socks at home). Spotless upon arrival and the beds were very comfortable. The owners and caretaker/manager were very quick to respond to any questions or issue that came up. We booked it for two weeks and wished we could have stayed longer. We will surely be back.

Ultra relaxing

Tortuga house was absolutely perfect for our family of four. The property was very serene and most certainly in a quiet part of the island. We loved having access to a kayak and spent a ton of time in the swings! We would definitely return. Thanks for sharing your property!

Fantastic beach house

The Tortuga House is a wonderful Oceanside property. All the amenities one could ask for are provided. The location is quiet and serene. I could not recommend it highly enough. A must go.

Paradise

What can we say , our second trip to Tortuga house was as great as our first . The house , the Host and Drex and Dee were fantastic . The best view and peace and quiet were just what we needed . Thanks again we will be back !

Great stay

Very cozy house with a great view. It’s definitely off the beaten path which makes it very quiet and private. The road back to the house was very rough which we were prepared for. Just rent a small suv at minimum. Very good communication with the owner.

Paradise

My family recently returned from our stay at the Tortuga. The house was perfect had everything we needed. We loved sitting in the gazebo every morning overlooking the stunning water views. My girls enjoyed sitting in the hammock swings to read or just hang. The Tortuga house is a slice of paradise! Can't wait to return next year.

Perfect Bahamian Getaway!

A truly stunning location with a very well appointed and beautiful house. Helen's home was the private, out-of-the-way retreat we were looking for, with everything we possibly wanted. It was exactly as described but still exceeded our expectations! Communication was great and clear. Go fish with Drex too, always a good time. Can't wait to return!

A slice of Paradise

From moment we arrived it felt like heaven on earth! From the meticulously landscaped grounds to the well appointed cottage, everything exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was stocked with an abundance of spices and cooking utensils. There were games, books, snorkeling equipment along with a two person kayak paddle board. The bedrooms we also nicely decorated and the beds so comfortable you could sleep easily.This was our 7th trip to Exuma and by far the best! We look forward to our next visit. Helen was a very responsive and accommodating host.

Piece of heaven…

Our stay at Tortuga was amazing! The property is exactly as described! The location is a perfect hideaway on the south side of the island, offering privacy yet the beauty of Exuma. The property is well stocked for your wants & needs, from the kitchen to the sunroom. The host, Helen, is very nice, helpful & easy to reach. I cannot say enough about this property, what I can say is that we will be back!
