The Space:

Make your next vacation on the Oregon Coast something special with this dog-friendly house in Barview. With its bayfront location, lovely views, and entertainment, up to 8 guests will make memories here.



Sitting just two miles past Garibaldi on the Tillamook Bay, you'll have plenty to look out on and beach access a short walk away. The cute town of Rockaway Beach has a variety of shops and restaurants just three miles north.



This house has a bright and comfortable atmosphere with plenty of windows and shiny wood floors. The top floor features an open common area with living, kitchen, and dining areas where everyone can gather on the leather couches or at the dining table with seats for six, and six more seats at the breakfast bar.



A well-equipped kitchen makes cooking a delight with stainless steel appliances, abundant counter space, and bonus items like a blender, mixer, coffeemaker, and dishwasher. If you're inspired, use the WiFi to find a new recipe!



On the middle floor is a second living room with comfy furniture, a stocked bookshelf, TV with DVD player, and a perfect table for playing a board game. You'll enjoy views from both this balcony and the upper-level one, as well as patio furniture, a gas grill, firepit, and a yard for your dogs to run around down below (please note a small, nightly pet fee).



With four bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths, this home will sleep up to 10 guests. Two rooms both feature a queen bed with built-in twin bunk beds, while a third room has a full-size bed. The final bedroom offers a king bed. A private washer/dryer located in one of the bathrooms makes laundry easy.



This house is perfect for a large family or a group of friends - walk to Barview Jetty Park to marvel at tide pools and walk barefoot on a long stretch of sand. Work up an appetite playing on the nearby sand dune, then cook up a delicious dinner with fresh fish or crab from the market!

Great location and central to most of northern Oregon coast. Very handy if enjoy outdoor activities. Kitchen was very well stocked for all cooking requirements.

The listing shows Dish Network for the house. We learned on arrival that Dish network is no longer installed. In addition for our stay the internet did not work and their was no remote for the main TV. Some of the towels are stained and should be replaced. The washing machine is a front load with mold all around the seal.The crabbing was good. Also if you have small children the house is next to a railroad track that is used for a local train ride that passes a few times a day.

We all liked the view was amazing but there where alot of stairs and the beds where a little hard but doable and there was some flys but it was nice to be there.

Breathtaking view, relaxing

Long weekend visit

Love the spacious home and location overlooking the bar. Kitchen was very well stocked and allowed us to do quite a bit of cooking. WiFi signal was in an out at times, which made streaming shows for the kids on the tv difficult at times.

Very Family Friendly and close to Garibaldi Marina, Tillamook and Rockaway. Wonderful entertaining view of the mouth of Tillamook Bay.

Garibaldi Holidays

The property is large with lots of seating and nice sized bedroooms. There are two large seating areas, great for gaming in one. Great view of the bay. The Christmas train goes by during the holidays, it was very fun to watch.

3/5 Great location, not so great upkeep of house:We had a family vacation of 10 people stay here, and initially loved the location/view and were looking forward to it, but upon arrival there were some unpleasantries with the house.The cleaner was 20 minutes past arrival time, so we had to wait to enter. When we went to enter, both electronic door locks were broken so we had to contact the host for an extra key. Washing machine was broken upon arrival, which the landlord told us about once we got there. They did wash our towels a couple days later. Keep in mind the cooling part of the A/C does not keep up if there is warmer weather, but it is not listed as having cooling.The refrigerator froze all of our vegetables and food placed in the fridge section, even after raising the temperature.HOWEVER, our biggest complaint was the cleanliness:-The couches and all their cushions were covered in dog hair and crumbs. We tried to vacuum them ourself, but the vacuum is so old/used that it started to overheat and smell like the motor was burning up. -Bedrooms were dirty: There were crushed cracker crumbs and candy trash on the floor under the beds, as well as drink sweat rings on the bedside tables. -The towels stank/had mildew smell.Overall, amazing views and location! Beautifully large space for a big family, but it was hard to get past the dirtiness. Host was quick to respond.

Excellent bayside home

House was perfect for my friends and I to have a relaxing weekend. Water front is less then 100 ft away from the front of the house and the massive windows give an amazing view of the whole bay!

We stayed at this house for our family reunion. The location and house is really important to us because we only come together once a year. The house is great in so many ways and the views are priceless. However, I was disappointed regarding cleanliness as the beds did not appear to be clean when we arrived. There was sand on some of the beds and appeared dirty. So upon arrival, we spent some time washing our bedding. There was also a really awful mildew smell on the main level downstairs which is where most of the bedrooms are and it was a smell that we could not get rid of, so we had to buy some air freshener. Luckily upstairs did not smell at all, so we spent most of our time upstairs until bedtime. There was wrappers on the sofa when we arrived and house did not appear swept. I never could figure out the TV and though we did do the messenger to try to figure it out we had no success and instead of going back-and-forth about something that was not an obvious fix-We just all decided to give up on it so we were not able to watch the TV in the 5 days that we were there but did eventually figure out the DVD player. We loved the views which is worth the money but if the house was cleaner, and things were easier to figure out, it would make the experience better. I would get new house cleaners and update tv instructions- printed copy by the tv, I would figure out the smell on the main floor but otherwise great house and view!

It’s a family affair

We throughly enjoyed our stay, the house had the comfort of home with amazing views. It was fun watching the crab boats bring in their catch and reset the lines. Short walk to the beach gave the grandkids such excitement.

The view is beautiful and the location is convenient. That said, we did notice that the home could benefit from a deeper cleaning and some updates. A few areas felt a bit worn, and the overall cleanliness didn’t quite meet our expectations. With some refreshing and a bit more attention to detail, this could be a truly great stay for future guests. Communication with the host was smooth, and we’re grateful for their hospitality.

Great house for a group and spectacular view!

Very open living area and kitchen. Lots of seating. Wood stove and a garage full of wood. Fun watching crabbers in the bay and we fished off the rocks in front of the house. Quiet area too!
