This delightful cottage truly captures storybook enchantment. Located just 3 miles south of Cannon Beach in the quiet, wooded area of Arcadia, a spectacular ocean view sweeps before you. This cottage is snug, yet open and roomy; has a charming taste of vintage-past, yet is freshly updated and well-appointed with stylish beach-y decor.

White and bright, with a high knotty pine ceiling, the main living area is spacious and inviting. Whether relaxing on the sofa, dining at the table, or preparing a meal, the enchantment of the Pacific Ocean is right before you.

To make the cottage experience all the more cozy, this space features a wood-burning fireplace, a Smart TV, and a well-planned kitchen with ample counter space including an eat-in area with two bar stools.

Just off the living room are the two bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed. Between the bedrooms is a bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a stackable washer and dryer.

Be sure to enjoy outdoor dining while ocean gazing on the newly constructed deck! For sure, you will be enchanted.

(Please note, there is no private beach access from this property; neighborhood access is steep and rough and used at your own risk. Safest access is Arcadia State Park or Hug Point. Gravel access road from highway 101 to this property is steep and rutted; GO SLOW; low ground clearance.)

The location is absolutely PERFECT. Quick access to in my opinion, the best beach in the area. Cottage is clean, beautiful, cozy, and exactly what we were looking for for a relaxing getaway.

We loved the house and the ocean view! Going down the road to it was steep. Gravel road and small roadway. Parking was small. It was a good thing we didn’t take our truck or road our motorcycle. The house was very clean and fully stocked with all the dishes and towels that we needed. Super quiet which was also a plus.

The cannon beach properties management were absolutely great to deal with as was the host!! The view was amazing and the cottage was awesome. I would highly recommend the Enchanted Cottage and I would definitely stay there again. It was a little bit away from any amenities but it was a nice short drive to Cannon Beach. Parking might be an issue if you had more than one vehicle and the driveway was a little treacherous. Thank you very much for a great getaway weekend.

This is a quiet, tucked away location. Unless you are fit and adventurous, no easy beach access from their cul-de-sac, but 2minutes car ride to Arcadia beach and about 10 minutes to S. Cannon beach/market. It is simple, neat and cozy and hard to beat as a beach base camp.The only confusion is there are two binders with home and contact information: the original owner’s is nice and full of information, but some, including contact and utilities information (water use) is outdated and just wrong.Our 13 yo daughter declared it was the best of our NW/coastal stays.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time for 4 nights. The cottage was clean and well kept, and great for our family of 4. It was smaller than I anticipated, which was fine for us it made it cozy. The main room is very well laid out. I appreciate the extra towels and pillows. I overlooked that the rental didn't supply shampoo and conditioner, so that was a mild set-back. We used the fireplace, which was wonderful! We did not use the BBQ. Deck chairs are broken and need to be replaced. There was quite a bit of construction going on across the street, so on weekdays it was noisy.

The Enchanted Cottage in Arch Cape was really nice. You can see the ocean between the houses just in front of the home. You don't actually have beach access from the home, because of the terrain in between, but it's a 30 second drive to the Arcardia Beach parking lot. It's quieter than Cannon Beach, while still only being a 5 minute drive to the amenities of the town. While we were there we basically didn't have reliable internet however. That was a big disappointment with 2 kids who wanted to watch TV at the end of a long day. The property managers did send someone out to work on it, and it did come on, but it was intermittent for the 4 days we were there. But the house was nice, the windows in the front and the deck offered a chance to see and hear the ocean, and it was clean. The road that leads to the house off the highway is very steep and not the safest. It's hard to see where you are going, and difficult to pull out with such fast traffic on the highway. But the place itself was very nice. We would recommend.

Excellent host, better ocean view than expected. Very comfy bed. Heat easy to use. Clean. Every thing we needed! Road to properly is steep, bumpy. Encourage future guests to try to get there in daylight. Wonderful stay overall.
