Welcome to our family’s log cabin. We chose this spot in Wardsboro because it sits right between Mount Snow (10 mins) and Stratton (20 mins). For us, it’s the best of both worlds—we get to chase the best conditions at either mountain while staying away from the resort traffic. This isn't just a rental; it’s our personal retreat that we’ve spent years upgrading to be as stress-free as possible.

Built to Handle the Elements
Vermont winters are beautiful, but they can be unpredictable. Because we use this home ourselves, we’ve invested in the kind of "storm-proof" infrastructure you won't find at a standard rental:

Whole-House Tesla Backup: We installed a full Tesla Powerwall system so our kids (and yours) aren't left in the dark. Unlike most backups, ours powers the entire house—including the heat and the Hot Tub. If the local grid goes down, your vacation doesn't stop.

Heated Stairs & Mats: Shoveling is the last thing you want to do on vacation. We have heated treads on the front stairs and heated mats leading all the way to the hot tub. They stay ice-free and clear even in a blizzard, so you always have a safe, dry path.

Starlink Wi-Fi: We often work from here, so we needed the most reliable high-speed internet available for video calls and 4K streaming.

Level 2 EV Charging: No more hunting for town chargers—we have a dedicated station in the driveway for our own trips and yours.

Our Favorite Ways to Relax

The Hot Tub: Our go-to spot for stargazing. Since it's on the backup power system, it stays hot even during a neighborhood outage.

The Game Room: We stocked the lower level with ping pong and foosball to keep the group entertained while the adults relax by the fire.

The Fireplace: We chose gas for instant warmth—perfect for those "après-ski" moments when you just want to sit down without the hassle of hauling wood or cleaning ash.

The Space
Our cabin features 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, comfortably sleeping 8. We are located on a quiet, private road where you can actually hear the silence of the woods, yet you're just minutes away from the best skiing, dining, and hiking in Southern Vermont.
