Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear about your concern regarding a possible mouse in the kitchen. We want our guests to feel comfortable and confident during their stay. We do have regular monthly pest control service in place; however, being located in the Smoky Mountains, we are surrounded by nature and occasionally wildlife or small pests can find their way into a home despite preventative measures. We truly wish you had reached out to us during your stay so we could have responded right away and dispatched our pest control team to address the concern. We hope your next visit to the Smoky Mountains exceeds your expectations.

Relaxing get away

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The kitchen area was left a little unclean. A person did come out to finish it up. Was told that I would receive a gift card for the inconvenience but, never got it.

Thank you for your feedback—we want to apologize again for the kitchen not being fully ready for your arrival. We appreciate your patience in having someone out to get everything taken care of. We also wanted to follow up regarding the gift card. It was sent via email the same day the issue was reported, and we gave you a call to let you know. It’s possible it may have landed in your spam or junk folder. We recommend checking there. Of course, if you’re still unable to locate it, please don’t hesitate to reach out and we’ll be happy to resend it right away. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future and provide you with a better experience.

The check in process was fast and easy. The property managers was happy to accommodate us! The property was clean. Pool was a huge it with the kids and loved having the washer and dryer right next to the pool. The only thing we had a issue was the stairs going up the stairs. The bottom step blends in with the floor so you think your at the bottom but your not and come crashing down. We used the lamp for the bottom of the stairs at night so we didn't have all the lights on. (Really could become the to have lights on the stairs somehow) Overall a 11/10 could stay again.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We’re thrilled to hear the check-in was quick and easy, the home was clean, and that the pool was such a hit with the kids. We really appreciate your feedback regarding the stairs, especially at night. There are light switches located at both the top and bottom of the stairway that illuminate the area, but we appreciate you sharing your observations about visibility on the bottom step. We are also reviewing this with our cleaning and inspection team to see if there are any additional improvements we can make, including whether a different or brighter bulb could better illuminate the lower stair area for future guests. We’re so glad to hear you’d stay again—an “11/10” means a lot—and we truly appreciate you taking the time to help us improve the guest experience.
