Historisk 106 y. o. triplex i West Beach. Denne hovedfront 1-BR enhed har været vores hjem i 10+ år. Det har et nyrenoveret badeværelse med dobbelt håndvask forfængelighed og soaker badekar / bruser, og nyrenoveret stort køkken.
High-ceiling værelser med indviklede arkitektoniske detaljer og indbyggede insekter; pejse i både LR og BR; luksuriøs king size seng i hoved BR og en høj kvalitet amerikansk forklæde sovesofa (dronning +) i LR. Ud over verandaen, kan man få adgang til tagterrassen / haven til stuen.
I nogle sæsoner søger vi ansvarlige parter, der er interesserede i at bo i et smukt, rummeligt hjem i hjertet af West Beach. Kontakt os venligst om tilgængelighed.

Great location. We especially enjoyed spending quiet time on the front porch watching the hummingbirds. The house is so beautiful that many people walking by took photos of it! We would love to return. Many thanks to your housekeeper as she was most friendly and helpful.

Great location - only 2 blocks to the beach - and plenty of room for 2 people. Did not use the kitchen but it was more than adequately stocked with a large refrigerator.

Charming place and perfect location

Walkable to everything - the harbor, the beach, the funk zone, State St., the train station, ect. The unit was very spacious and access to the rooftop garden was a cool perk!

Wonderful stay at Chapala Gardens

Great location, Great host. Great time. Stayed for 3 weeks, we returned our rental car after a couple days and walked or biked for 2 weeks. One block from the train station, one block to beach, three blocks to center of town. Wonderful restaurants and bars within easy walking distances. We had a great time exploring Santa Barbara.

Nice stay

We enjoyed Sandy’s property and the location was perfect for our family. We biked or walked everywhere and the kids loved being so close to everything. It’s a charming place and the rooftop garden is very cool. Sandy was a great host.

Back again

My brother lives here in Santa Barbara and we always stay at Chapala Gardens when we visit him. Clean, spare unit with plenty of room and all the amenities. We love sitting on the spacious porch, enjoying the California sun.

Santa Barbara week stay

location was fantastic! close to water, Funk Zone and State Street. While we had a car... didn't need it or use it except for day trips. Beach chairs and towels very useful. Rooftop garden is lovely and while shared with other 2 units, was very private. Ability to grab some salad greens and herbs was a real bonus! We will definitely be back!

Chapala Gardens Experience

Sandy’s place was amazing. He is a great host and property is really nice. Location is unbelievable. Walking distance to all of the highlights Santa Barbara has to offer. State street, Funk Zone, Sterns Warf, The marina, all next door to you. Sandy’s place was really nice and clean, and he was so nice to make sure are check in process was easy and that we were comfortable. Really appreciate everything. I will most definitely stay here again if I’m in the Santa Barbara area.

Ideally Located Beautiful West Beach Bungalow

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely 1 bedroom home. It was a pleasure to enjoy its esthetics, spaciousness, closeness to the beach, State St., The Moxi, restaurants, the harbor, train station. You do not need a car. Ideal location. An added plus is the lovely terrace with hydroponic farming, where we were able to enjoy evening meals and a glass of wine. The owner generously allowed us to harvest kale and lettuce - farm to table at its best. We created wonderful memories in this lovely setting.

The home is beautiful and the host takes care that their guests are well accomodated. We stayed here the night before my wedding and it was a lovely place in a great area close to the beach and the courthouse. Definitely stay here when you visit Santa Barbara!

We had a wonderful visit to Santa Barbara and loved staying in Unit 1 of the Chapala Gardens! Every day we enjoyed coffee on the front porch and a glass of wine in the evening on the beautiful rooftop garden. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They quickly responded to any questions we had and it was a seamless experience. The kitchen is well maintained with everything you need to prepare a meal and the location is ideal for walking to the beach or to restaurants. We look forward to returning!

Chapala Gardens is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Santa Barbara. You can walk to many wonderful restaurants, cafes, and shops. The apartment is stocked with everything you need for a delightful stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the Santa Barbara beach house. The rooms are spacious and it is well equipped. I miss the comfy bed already. I loved the craftsman character that has been retained in the house. The host was very informative and quick to respond to any questions.

Great Location

Beautiful house in convenient location. We didn’t need to use our car as everything is walkable. Parking is a bit of an issue as there is no private parking and there are restrictions for on-street parking at weekends and Wednesday mornings. The house is well equipped with everything you could need.

The Rooftop Garden ROCKS

We loved our stay at Chapala Gardens. The location is perfect…close walk to the beach or State street. The accommodations were clean and as advertised. The rooftop garden stole the show. My wife and I ended up fixing dinner at home on 3 of our five nights because the rooftop was the best location in town. We also ate breakfast up there each morning. Sandy was an excellent host.

Great family celebration and stay in Santa Barbara!

Excellent location and units in Santa Barbara! Sandy (host) was very communicative and helpful! We had a family dinner on the rooftop patio (our family had rented all three units) and Sandy offered tables, chairs, and other help to make it a great experience. The unit is very close to the beach and close to town center where some amazing restaurants and shops are.

We are residents of Santa Barbara, having moved from the Sacramento area and Canada here in 2008. We formerly occupied the front main unit of this beautiful tri-plex by the beach and oversee the property ourselves.

Our rooftop is a beautiful, demonstration aeroponic, soil-less vertical farm which is available to our guests for lounging, dining and just enjoying!

Health-conscious and fitness-oriented, our family enjoys beach volleyball, bicycling and running right here in West Beach with its nearby amenities. We also are pioneering a soil-less, vertical aeroponic Tower Garden farm on our rooftop.

We love sharing our love of this ideal neighborhood with our guests.

A beautiful building in a unique neighborhood - IDEALLY located for beachfront and downtown access by foot.
West Beach is THE place to stay in Santa Barbara for both beach and downtown access. Very few properties become available here, and certainly none with the amenities we offer for the reasonable price we offer!

A rooftop aeroponic garden available for early morning and evening access.
The historic building and charming unit are unique in Santa Barbara . The privacy offered by the backyard patio by Mission Creek is special. The access to everything Santa Barbara has to offer is amazing and our rooftop farm is supremely unique and special.
Lastly, getting individual attention from the property owners/managers, Janis & Joy will make your stay memorable.
