Offering views of the harbor and footbridge from its two beautiful porches, this Boothbay Harbor escape lets you experience Midcoast Maine with ease and elegance. Whenever the mood strikes, you can stroll into the heart of town to dine, shop, or hop on board an unforgettable whale-watching excursion.

This luxe seaside apartment occupies the first floor of a two-story building, one that's scenically situated across the road from the water's edge. Walk half a mile west to reach downtown Boothbay Harbor; head half a mile south and you'll find the renowned Boothbay Lobster Wharf. The Maine State Aquarium (three miles), the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens (four miles), and charming little Wiscasset (13 miles) are just a few of the other nearby attractions.

Spend sparkling summer days outside on the porches, offering the perfect perch for watching the neighborhood pass you by. The small deck off the primary bedroom is the place for morning coffee; the expansive, covered veranda awaits at golden hour for wine and appetizers.

From its open design to its chic decor, the interior is a study in understated coastal style. At the heart of the living space is a breezy kitchen with upscale appliances and a large island. To one side is a bistro table where you can dine and play cards in the evenings with a view of the harbor. To the other is a living area with a smart TV to watch in the warmth of the gas fireplace.

The bedrooms are serene and comfortable, each paired with a TV and a full bathroom for privacy. Other little luxuries include central air conditioning, high-speed WiFi, and a private washer/dryer (in addition to the building's communal laundry room).

Harbor's End Unit B is an absolutely outstanding place to stay!The unit is spotlessly clean, and has every amenity imaginable. The gardens are beautiful, and we spent a lot of time sitting on the porch enjoying the view (and also the heaters!). The location is perfect, in easy walking distance to the pedestrian bridge, shopping and restaurants. We highly recommend staying here when you visit Boothbay Harbor!

Excellent

This place was top notch! Not only was it beautiful, it was spotless with awesome location. It is well stocked with kitchen supplies (everything Imaginable)! Highly recommended… loved it!

We really enjoyed our time there. The apartment was really nice. The only thing I'd recommend is to send someone over to check the back door lock - it would often not work until we'd have to spend a lot of time jiggling the handle to get it to finally either close or open.

Another perfect stay at Harbor's End Unit B

We've been staying at this wonderful Boothbay Harbor rental for nearly 10 years through various owners, and somehow it only gets better. The home is always spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The views are beautiful, the setting is peaceful and serene, and we love sitting outside watching the boats, cars and people go by. The location is perfect—an easy walk to town while still feeling private and relaxing. Another fantastic stay, and we can't wait to return.

Truly excellent rental! My family of 4 had plenty of space to stretch out, make meals in the well-equipped kitchen, and do laundry throughout the week. Enough laundry detergent provided for about 2 loads. We really enjoyed the location- it’s a short walk via (small) sidewalk to either the footbridge or the shops on the edge of town. A highlight was the town was putting on a drone show for the 250th celebrations, and we could see it over the harbor from the porch! A little pricey for Boothbay, but hoping we’ll be able to be back next year!

Beyond beautiful

We loved our stay at Harbors End Unit B! From the spacious well furnished outdoor space to the elegantly furnished coastal interior, this home has it all! We especially enjoyed the comfortable beds which are made up with fine linens and cozy soft comforters! The house is equipped with just about everything you need including coolers, towels and a collection of sunscreen for beaching and boating! The kitchen is a delight to explore with a large variety of plates and beautiful stemware and every kitchen appliance and tool you would need! Perfect 5 star luxe stay!

This was our 2nd time staying here and it was just as fabulous - we could easily spend a lot of time there - it is exceptionally appointed with great convenience's, furnishings and outdoor living space. We can’t wait to return in the Spring - we literally parked the car and never got in it again!

Spacious home, great location

This is a large, well appointed, very comfortable house with a wonderful porch overlooking the harbor across the road. A short walk into town across the pedestrian footbridge. My partner and two adult sons stayed there very happily--six of us could easily have been accommodated.

Harbor's End Unit B Boothbay Harbor, ME

We were a party of six and very much enjoyed our stay here - the view of Boothbay Harbor from the front is amazing! It was an easy walk to all the harbor restaurants and activities. The house was lovely - great coastal decor and very clean, comfortable, and roomy. There is a little traffic noise along the front of the house since it is on a main thoroughfare in the town, but great for people watching from the porch. We also loved cooking in the beautiful well stocked kitchen! We would definitely stay here again!

The owners have provided every possible thing you might need, including hair dryers. The provided liquid bath soap did however, run out so we were grateful that we had brought our own as well. The property was a short walk to the foot bridge that took us into the heart of town. The master suite was stunning and has its own deck and walk in shower. All that however, was slightly overshadowed by realizing that one full bathroom was located between the other two bedrooms and therefore shared. Ideal for a family but NOT recommended for 6 adults. It was too easy to accidently lock one couple out of that shared bathroom.

Beautiful rental and location. Traffic noise a slight nuisance at certain times of the day. Our significant issue was that the home was advertised as having 3 full baths, and despite us verifying that by reaching out to the owner (or property mgr.?) when we booked, we arrived to find only 2.5 baths. Uncomfortable for 3 couples. We contacted property management & were informed that we would be contacted by the local responsible person, but that never happened.
