The property is located directly against the national park, so wildlife is continually visible. My stay was mostly quiet with little interruption. The rooms are well designed and adequately stocked for a pleasant stay. The location of the property is convenient because most of Gatlinburg is within walking distance. These are the positive things. The negative things are as follows. The building is new, so there are a few obstacles to overcome. The living room rug is cheap and sheds fuzz into the entire condominium. I vacuumed the rug with little success. This seems petty but I warn you of wearing black clothing. Clearly the host or owner thought out the design of this place. Great work, but the finish carpentry is noticeably subpar. Half of the doors are not set straight, so much so that there is a large gap on one side of the top. You can put your hand through it when the door is shut. The island is set crooked. The shoe molding isn’t angled. The shoe molding isn’t finished. The door seals aren’t installed correctly and light shines from the walkway lights from the outside to the inside while the door is closed. The place is priced too low. People leave garbage outside of their room and bears get into it every night. Loud people on the walkway at midnight are a problem. 2 elevators for 18 rooms is a great ratio if either of them function. Don’t message through the app, they won’t respond but they WILL send you generic reminders.
