Dating from the second half of the 19th, the building—now home to the Casa Carlo vacation apartment—is tucked away in a courtyard. The distinctive domed ceiling and the extraordinary, locally characteristic architecture immediately reveal to the traveler that they are right in the heart of the Amalfi Coast.

As part of the municipality of Amalfi, Vettica is only about 2.5 km from the picturesque center of the former maritime republic and is easily accessible by bus. A bus stop is located just 50 m away, so you could easily get by without a car during your vacation.

Another treat awaiting you at Casa Carlo is the spacious rooftop terrace with unobstructed views of the vast sea and the rugged coastal formations.

VACATION APARTMENT WITH A BEAUTIFUL OCEAN VIEW
Casa Carlo is ideal for a vacation for two as well as for a family of four. The apartment features 2 bedrooms, a spacious living/dining room with a kitchen, and a bathroom.

The apartment is accessible from the street via a staircase.

Upon entering, you step into Casa Carlo through the dining area, which leads out to the rooftop terrace. Part of the outdoor area is covered by a pergola. Here, in the soothing shade, you can relax and take in the view of the sea. A large iron table and chairs create a wonderful outdoor dining area.

The kitchen area is visually separated from the dining area (which has air conditioning) by a round arch. The small living area is also visually separated from the dining area by a round arch.

From the two bedrooms facing the sea, the deep blue of the ocean catches your eye the moment you wake up. The bedroom with twin beds has a separate entrance to the terrace.

PARKING: For a fee and with prior reservation, a locked parking space across from Casa Carlo is available.

AROUND YOUR VACATION RENTAL
The Torre Vettica bus stop is located right next to the apartment. SITA buses run regularly from here toward Amalfi and Agerola/Pogerola. From the bus station in Amalfi, famous destinations along the coast—such as Positano, Ravello, and Sorrento—are easy and convenient to reach. Boats depart daily from Amalfi’s harbor for Capri and, in the summer, even for Cilento (Agropoli).

There is a supermarket about 500 meters from Casa Carlo. There are also bars and restaurants nearby, some of which are within walking distance. After about 600 m along a staircase, you’ll reach Ristorante Al Pesce d’Oro.

ALL KINDS OF EXCURSIONS
Casa Carlo is strategically located. A stroll through lively, colorful Amalfi or sophisticated Positano is a treat not just for culture lovers.

After about 1 km, you’ll reach picturesque coves like Lido degli Artisti or Santa Croce with the famous Arco degli Innamorati —a natural rock arch carved by the sea and dedicated to lovers. Please note: Some of these beaches are accessible only on foot via a flight of stairs.

Another highlight of the Amalfi Coast begins in nearby Agerola. High above the sea, the Sentiero degli Dei, or Path of the Gods, captivates hikers with spectacular views. The approximately 8-km-long trail ends near Positano. You can return to Amalfi by bus or boat to round out the day on the enchanting terrace of Casa Carlo with an ice-cold limoncello.

VACATION APARTMENT WITH STUNNING OCEAN VIEW
Casa Carlo, which is accessible from the street via a stepped path, is a wonderful place to stay for two, but also for a family of four.
It features a spacious room with a living, dining, and kitchen area, two bedrooms—one with a double bed and one with twin beds, both with access to the terrace—and a bathroom (shower/toilet/bidet).

The dining area—through which you enter Casa Carlo and which opens onto the terrace—the small living area, and the kitchen area (including a gas stove, oven, and fridge-freezer) are connected by large, arched openings. The two bedrooms face the sea, allowing you to take in its deep blue waters first thing in the morning.

The apartment’s large rooftop terrace is a dream. Relax in the sun or in the shade of the covered area and let the view of the sea “wash over” you. The lovely outdoor dining area, featuring a large wrought-iron table and chairs, is perfect for al fresco dining.

Casa Carlo is also equipped with air conditioning (in the dining area), a TV, Wi-Fi, and a washing machine. A children’s bed can be provided.

PARKING: Enclosed, lockable parking across from Casa Carlo is available for a fee, but advance reservation (at the time of booking!) is required.

AROUND THE CASA CARLO VACATION APARTMENT

At the end of the hike, take the bus or the boat back to Amalfi and let the day come to a close with a chilled limoncello in hand on the charming terrace of Casa Carlo.
