Thank you for your wonderful review, Thomas! We are excited to hear you enjoyed your stay. We are sorry you experienced an issue with millipedes at the cabin. We can assure you, it has been taken care of. Each of our cabins are treated by our local pest control company. Even with regular treatment, we do find that from time to time an occasional insect will find their way inside. After your departure, our technician was called out to treat the cabin. Your comfort is important to us. We take all steps needed to ensure the cabin will be pest-free. We appreciate you bringing them to our attention. Please do not hesitate to contact us during your stay should you arrive and find any item that needs our attention. We provide 24/7 guest assistance to ensure that any need that arises can be handled quickly. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience experienced and hope you will consider staying with us again during your next visit to our beautiful Great Smoky Mountains. Please keep in mind, as a returning guest you will enjoy 10% off all future stays.

We deeply apologize for the unpleasant squirrel experience you had. We had to have a wildlife expert come trap and remove them after your stay. Their access hole has been permanently sealed off so they will have to live in the forest instead of the cabin from now on. Unfortunately, we can't do anything about the location of the cabin and the neighbors, unless they present an issue such as loud noise or partying into the early morning hours. We pride ourselves in providing 5 star stays to our guests, handling any problems with your stay while you are our guest and making sure your safety is never an issue. We hope you will consider a future stay with us. We have over 100 other cabins to choose from and our repeat guests receive a 10% discount off all future stays!

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent cabin visit, Yulema. It is regrettable that you did not enjoy your stay at Mountain Splash. It appears that the temperature for the pool upon your arrival was 84 degrees. This is the correct temperature to maintain chemical balance. Please do not hesitate to contact us during your visit if you find items that are not up to par. We offer 24/7 staff assistance, and we are happy to send out a member of our staff to correct any mistakes. We appreciate you reporting these items to us now.

Thank you for your honest review, Jessica. We would like to stress that this is not indicative of a usual stay with us. We appreciate you making us aware and I have reported this to the proper department. I know our housekeepers are eager to get a start in the mornings, but this is unacceptable. However, we are truly pleased that you enjoyed your stay at Mountain Splash. It sounds like you chose the perfect cabin to relax and enjoy the scenery. We hope that you will visit us again in the future.

We appreciate you sharing your experience with us, Andrew. Mountain Splash is a wonderful cabin with many amenities for the whole family to enjoy. The pool is definitely a plus for some extra fun. We do keep the alarms on each door for a safety precaution for children. We certainly appreciate your feedback regarding the mattresses and the bathrooms. Ashley, we appreciate your feedback. I would like to start by saying that customer safety is very important to us. This neighboring resident walks his dog all the time. We have seen him when we are going to clean the cabins or do maintenance. However, this is the first guest complaint we have had about him. If you felt in any way that he was a threat, then our staff did the right thing by advising you to call the police. We do apologize that he made you feel uncomfortable and felt like he was invading your privacy. We should have sent a staff member up to the cabin to talk to him while you were our guest, but your complaint wasn't handled as it should have been. I sincerely apologize that you felt like we "dropped the ball." For the record, I personally tried to call you back regarding the hot tub that you wanted drained and refilled and it said your mailbox was full. I had to resort to texting you to communicate with you. I think you were probably in certain areas where cell reception was not very good. We do ntend to speak to the neighbor about being more respectful of our guests who are trying to enjoy their vacations. I can assure you that this will not happen again! Customer satisfaction is very important to us and we don't take things like this lightly. We appreciate your repeat business and would love for you to give us another chance. Thanks again for the review, Ashley.

Thank you for the 5 star review Linda! We are so pleased that you enjoyed your time in this great cabin complete with an indoor swimming pool and amazing mountain views.

Thank you for your review, Robert. We are delighted to know your stay was awesome. It is unfortunate to know you were not able to use the jacuzzi tub. We were not aware of the plus until your departure. We have 24/7 guest assistance to ensure that any need that arises can be resolved quickly. We strive to be the best in the business and we want nothing more than our guests to feel as though they have a home away from home while in our area. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience experienced and hope you enjoyed your time spent in our area.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us Latonya. It is regrettable to hear of any issues while you were staying with us. You certainly chose a great cabin to spend your vacation, unfortunately this time of year millipedes do migrate into our area As you said they are harmless just a nuisance. We can ensure you we will contact our local pest control to do an additional spray to this cabin. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope this experience does not deter you from visiting us in the future. Thank you.
