This property is absolutely beautiful. The house itself is spacious and well appointed. The views from the house look out over the village and countryside. Restaurants and groceries are a 10 minute walk. Jean-Paul and Myriam are excellent hosts; hospitable and so helpful in advising us of places to visit. We made good use of the heated pool. I cannot say enough about this place and I would highly recommend it for a true Provençal experience. I hope we will be able to visit again.

Our small family have just enjoyed a fantastic two weeks in peaceful Callas. The house is beautifully decorated and spacious with very welcome quiet air con. It is ideally located and we alternated pool days with visiting the awesome gorge, local villages and the big sights of Antibes, Nice, Grasse and St Tropez. Definitely a region of contrasts! Callas is a friendly village with good local shops. Thanks so much Myriam & Jean-Paul for being such excellent hosts. We very much hope to visit again.

Our small family with two older children have just enjoyed a fantastic two weeks in peaceful Callas. The house is beautifully decorated and spacious with very welcome quiet air con. It is ideally located and we alternated pool days with visiting the awesome gorge, local villages and the big sights of Antibes, Nice, Grasse and St Tropez. Definitely a region of contrasts!Callas is small but has a well-stocked little supermarket and excellent boulangerie. It really is within walking distance of the house. Thanks so much Myriam & Jean-Paul for being such excellent hosts. We very much hope to visit again.

We had a great week on Callas. The property is wonderful and so are the hosts! The views are fabulous and the house is even better than the photos. We enjoyed our 10 minute walk down to the boulangerie each morning.

Amazing stay in Callas

We found the property to be perfect for our group of 5, very spacious and comfortable, lovely pool, amazing views, everything in the house we needed, a lovely short walk into Callas and Jean-Paul and Myriam so welcoming and helpful

Fantastic views

What a pleasure to stay in such a clean, well-equipped and comfortable house with the most fabulous views. We were warmly welcomed and very much enjoyed our stay.

A wonderful base in Callas

The villa is just as described and possibly more impressive than the photos. A great base for you to explore the coast and also inland. Jean-Paul and Myriam are wonderful hosts, very responsive to messages and provide lots of information and recommendations. Callas is a small but charming village. We had an amazing time!

Paradis

Our time at Jean-Paul and Myriam's place was unparalleled. The large, charming home was decorated with care and attention to charming details and lovely art. We slept so well in the comfortable beds, after long mountain bike rides to the surrounding ding villages. We would love to stay here again.

Perfection.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. A perfect location, great facilities including a wonderful pool and large area for relaxation and outdoor dining. Our choice of location and villa could not have been improved and we are extremely grateful to our hosts for their hospitality, nothing was too much trouble and contact was easy but not intrusive during our stay. We would have no hesitation in recommending this wonderful Villa to any of our friends and we hope to return at some stage.

Lovely break in a great location

Needed somewhere quiet and comfortable for a last minute break in the sun. This was perfect. Very quiet and very comfortable, everything as described. Short walk to village for croissants in the morning and a quick drink in the evening! Great restaurants in the area as well. Hosts were very helpful and excellent communication. Thank you

Wonderful Week

Lovely week here, property had everything you could ever need and the owners are available for any questions and make sure you are well settled and we had a lovely welcome basket. Overall great place, incredibly clean and had everything you need for a family including ikea highchair/cot and safety gate for the pool. We loved it, genuinely brilliant house and location. Thankyou!

A pool with a view!

Lovely stay in what really feels like a home, rather than a gite. Beautifully furnished and decorated, with all mod cons, and a stunning view of the town and mountains from the garden and pool. Just a few minutes walk to the bakery and good restaurants. Callas is a friendly town, attractive but not touristy. Lots to do in the local area, we got some some good advice from Jean-Paul and Myriam, who were really welcoming. A fantastic first visit to Provence!

Beautiful house, solidly built with incredible views and everything you could possibly need. The surrounding area is also gorgeous. For larger people it is worth knowing the beds are solidly built, one room is on the ground floor and the walk in shower on the ground floor is very spacious. You can park right next to the front door. The hosts live next door (detached property) and were super helpful and kind. They only communicated when needed amd gave good suggestions for excursions. Othersise we were left alone and felt private. Would definitely go back and book again.

Do you know the feeling when you actually do not want to share a comment because an experience was so beautiful that you want to keep it as a little secret just for yourself? This property is beautiful, even more beautiful than the photos can show, and Jean-Paul and Myriam are the nicest hosts you can think of. The only problem here is that it is not possible to give even more than 5 stars – they would deserve it!

We had a wonderful 2 week holiday in this fabulous house with amazing views. Jean-Paul & Myriam were very welcoming and helpful with great suggestions on all the many area’s sightseeing opportunities and activities (including bike rides, walking, canoeing etc), but we also had our complete privacy to fully enjoy the comfortable, well equipped house, the large pool and garden surrounds. The location was ideal for us, being pretty much equidistant between the coast and the Gorges du Verdon, plus close to many other beautiful villages & countryside to explore. Also a short walk into Callas village itself in the morning to the very good local boulangerie and also restaurants in the evening, when we weren’t all simply dining outside at the house enjoying the views or using the great summer kitchen area.In summary, we had a perfect family holiday with our two sons and wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend.

Charming spacious house in lovely Provence village

We spent a week at the property, which is a large, but characterful house next door to the owners' own house. The house is spacious, with a downstairs bedroom and bathroom, and 2 upstairs bedrooms with bathroom, all air con. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped. The owners, Jean-Paul & Myriam, are a very pleasant couple and made check-in and check-out very easy. Jean-Paul spoke good English. The location of the house is superb, as it has a good outdoor area with lots of tables and a swimming pool with lovely views across to the small village of Callas. However, and unusually for these kind of properties which are sometimes remote, the village was an easy 15 mins walk away so we popped out in the morning to the excellent bakery for bread and pastries. There was also a small supermarket and a few (good-value) restaurants. Callas itself is an easy drive from Nice airport and there are lots of things to see and do in the area - we particularly liked visiting the coast at St Tropez, discovering the pretty villages nearby, and the spectacle of the Gorges du Verdon and canoeing on Lac St Croix. The Var region itself is a delight and feels ever so slightly off the beaten Provence track (inland at least). A lovely property in a lovely area!

We very happy to stay in la Maison Bleue. The house was clean and there were enough kitchen cutlery and dishes for 5 people. Beds were comfortable and in all bedrooms there was air conditioning. Jean-Paul and Myrian were great hosts. Registration, even late in the evening, was mooth. We got a lot of tips what to do an where to eat in near villages. Even if the hosts' house was near, there was a total privacy. The pool was perfect - clean and well maintained. We recommend this house strongly.

Zeer compleet huis in de natuur met prachtig uitzicht en op loopafstand van bet dorpje.Heerlijk verwarmd zwembad en prachtige buitenkeuken. Aan alles is gedacht. De zeer vriendelijke eigenaren zijn zeer behulpzaam.

Wir haben uns vor Reiseantritt über die ausschließlich sehr guten Bewertungen gewundert. Jetzt wissen wir, warum. Es stimmt alles. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, geben viele gute Tipps und sind dabei sehr diskret. Alle Bilder stimmen zu 100%. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, das Haus ist in wunderschönem provenzalischem Stil eingerichtet. Die Aussicht ist überwältigend. Es gibt keine Kritikpunkte. Kurzfassung: le petit paradis

Einzigartige Lage

Die Lage des Hauses ist fantastisch! Das Grundstück ist von außen nicht einsehbar. Wer Ruhe sucht und trotzdem in Laufnähe (10 min) Einkaufsmöglichkeiten möchte (u.a. Bäcker, verschiedene Restaurants, Supermarkt), ist hier genau richtig. Die Gastgeber, die nebenan wohnen, sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Zustand des Grundstücks/des Hauses entspricht genau den Fotos. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und werden sehr gerne wiederkommen. Uneingeschränkte Weiterempfehlung!

Très agréable séjour dans le Haut-Var

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans cette maison à la vue magnifique sur les collines varoises et le village de Callas. La maison est parfaitement conforme à sa description, très bien équipée, les propriétaires, qui vivent sur le même terrain, sont forts sympathiques et très discrets, le village est charmant.
