Family vacation - property was excellent

Unit was exactly as listed. Property is great. There is a Duke’s restaurant adjacent to the pool too, with great views of the sea. We had a great time at this condo.

Maui 2025

Honua Kai was our 3 time. Staff and amenities were great as always. Will be back next year for easter break!

Beautiful vacation spot . Can easily spot whales off balcony and beach .Timely responses and great communication.All the comforts of home . We will be back !

Worth a repeat!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at honua kai. Apartments are very clean and spacious with gorgeous views and the resort is well maintained. The kids and the adults enjoyed the beaches and the pool. After any long drive enjoying maui, was a pleasure to get back to the resort and relax. A must for any family visiting maui.

fabulous space

We took a family vacation right before Christmas with 3 teenagers and the space was perfect! Everything was very open and everyone had their own space! It was great! We will definitely be back! Thank you!

This is absolutely the most beautiful view! I cannot even begin to count how many hours we spent on the balcony. We traveled as a group of 7. Our kids 18 and 20, we are in our 40’s, and my parents are late 70’s. It was perfect for everyone. The kitchen was a game changer in having everything we needed for preparing meals and large enough tables for us to enjoy eating together! Washer and dryer were awesome- and the rooms were huge, each with tvs! Valet was phenomenal and everyone was fantastic. Drink service by the pool was lovely and the music daily at Dukes is great! We had a super small issue when we first got to the room and it was handled immediately! I cannot say enough about how great everything from the management to the amenities about this unit is!

Repeat visitor

My daughter and her family stayed in this condo. She said it was a very nice unit. The only downside was the hairdryers were terrible and smelled bad when used. We should have reported it but we didn’t. The property managers were prompt with any request that we made. It was a great week vacation.

The condo was fantastic, extremely clean, same as presented on website. The management company was very responsive to all requests. Great view, beautiful resort. Resort is in a great location.

Phenomenal Property and Communication

Background: This was the third trip to Maui for my wife and I, and we were a total party of 8 (6 adults and 2 young children). First time staying on the West side. Previous stays were in Wailea and Kihei. Property Management: From time of booking through checkout, we received excellent communication on payment requests, check-in and checkout procedures, and special requests. We did not have anything wrong with the property that required assistance, so I cannot comment on their responsiveness, although I have no reason to believe it would have been anything other than prompt and professional. Good problem to have! Condo: As the title says, phenomenal. Honoa Kai is a beautiful resort, and our condo really was perfect. More details below: Lanai: Awe-inspiring. View of the property and ocean were awesome and provided excellent views of the ocean, the sunset, and the people. The lanai does overlook the pools, but there were NEVER any privacy or noise concerns. It was great to be able to look down and see my children and their grandparents in the pool. Additionally, the lanai wraps around and also provides beautiful views of the mountains. The wraparound part helps with the airflow and keeps it extremely comfortable even when cooking on the grill. The grill worked great and had an outdoor fridge and pantry for all your cooking needs. We used it multiple times during our stay. Lastly, the glass walls open up completely (and easily) between the lanai and the living room / kitchen and create a wonderful open feel. Needless to say, we all spent a great deal of time here! Bedrooms/Bathrooms: Perfect and huge! Two master bedrooms were essentially apartments unto themselves. Master baths were absolutely top notch. The third bedroom was beautiful as well and right next to the third bathroom (although not en suite). Only seems small because the masters are so huge! Each bedroom has its own AC control, so if some like it hot, it doesn't penalize the others! Misc: Place was stocked with everything needed: kitchenware, laundry, beach toys. No need for anything else. Honoa Kai resort: Free valet parking made travel easy. Never waited more than a few minutes for car pickup. Pools were beautiful and easy to access. Beach short walk, although we spent most of the time at the pool. Dukes was always busy, so make reservations if desired. I'm out of characters, but this was a phenomenal property and amazing stay. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Amazing condo. Paradise at its finest!

We celebrated by parents 50th anniversary in this condo with my family. The condo is simply gorgeous. We loved sitting on the balcony looking at the ocean. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need! We couldn't be happier and can't wait to go back!

Absolutely beautiful!!

Thank you Maui Resort Rentals for finding us the perfect home for a perfect vacation. I couldn’t imagine that the unit could be as beautiful as the pictures that were posted, but they were actual pictures of our condo. Loved that we could fold all the glass doors to open up the inside to the wonderful lanai, the well kept grounds and pools. This ocean front condo had everything that my family of four adults and two children needed. Maui Resort Rental called us the day we were arriving to make check in very easy. Called again mid week to see that everything was satisfactory, and the day before leaving making check out a breeze. If I ever get to Maui again, I will be at the Honua Kai Konea and hopefully 402. Mahala
