The house was perfect for my family with a large kitchen and lots of open space. We loved the floor plan and the numerous decks. The dock was the main attraction as we spent most of our time there. We would highly recommend this property.

Excellent place to stay!

We rented this home and have nothing but good to say about it. Nice quiet cove and the house was well decorated and clean. The home had plenty of space both inside and out for our group. The owners were great to work with. Love this lake and the location.

Our stay at Sunny Disposition was great! House was spacious. Cove very peaceful and close to marina. Would definitely stay here again

We had a great time. The cove was nice away from boat traffic. We really liked the dock there was lots of room and plenty of room to park the boats. The kids used the kayaks and the paddle boards. The house was great every thing was really nice. I appreciate you letting us stay there thank you.

Another great trip

Quiet cove allows for lots of safe water fun for kids and paddle sports without much worry about motorized boats passing through the swimming area. Our group liked the place so much we came back for a second year in a row.

Lake House

We had a great time at this Norris Lake home. It was clean and comfortable and very well equipped for fun and family time. The owner was very easy to work with and extremely helpful. I highly recommend this house for a great family vacation.

After staying at the same property for 20 years, we had to find a new place to stay this year. When one door closes, God opens another! Better than expected and great location.
Beautiful, well lit stairs to a great dock with slip for your boat
2 large decks. Lower deck has cornhole boards just inside in lower level hallway. Bring your own bags

Fun times

We loved this place so much we came back a second time. The kitchen has everything you could want. The dock is nice with calm water for swimming and fishing. Plenty of parking and things to do inside if it rains. My daughter and I love to read and there were so many books to chose from which was fantastic. Would definitely come back a 3rd time.

House was fantastic. Only issue was that there was something draining from the house right down to the fire pit. And it had a bad smell.

Family vacation

The house had just about everything we needed for our family vacation. Nice view of the lake and the location on the lake was great because there was no boat traffic at all. We swam off the dock with no worries of boats or water traffic! It is a daunting drive back into town so if you are looking for food or shopping, prepare for a 25 minute drive. Nothing is quick unless you have your own boat.

great lake vacation

house is fully stocked with everything you could want or need! it was an oddly chilly rainy week for july but we had fun doing puzzles, playing cornhole, cards, games... enough room for everyone to have their own space when need be also. We had a party of 14, age 4 to 46 and everyone had a blast! Ridge BBQ in town was good for a rainy day and hiking Little Egypt watetfalls was fun also!

perfect getaway

This house has everything! Extra blankets and pillows, TVs in every room, fully stocked kitchen with ice machine, grill, kayaks, paddle boards, floats, even a PS2, diving board and air hockey table! Our stay was wonderful! We barely went to town because everyone was so content on the property. The cove is quiet with no boat traffic. We saw turtles, frogs and a tiny snake and caught bluegills off the dock. We will definitely be back!

Best vacation ever!

We loved the house, we loved the lake, we loved the private cove, we loved it all! This was our first time visiting Norris Lake and we are already planning our return. This home is beautifully decorated. Regina really did a great job! It was well planned out and accommodated all 15 of us very comfortably. The teenagers enjoyed the bunk room downstairs. The lake was clean and beautiful. We enjoyed having our own pontoon boat, kayaks, and paddle boards right at our very own dock. Great week!

Perfect cove house

We had 3 couples, a grandmother and 2 kids in our party. The bedrooms were lovely and the common area was very comfortable. The kitchen had all we needed and the large table was perfect for board games. Bathrooms were beautiful. The dock was so nice for hanging out after a day of cruising on the boat. The best part was the cove! We could swim, paddle board, or just play and we had the whole area to ourselves. Easy access to multiple marinas. What a cool location! House owner was great and easy to talk to. We would like to stay here again.

A fun family get-away on the lake!

Our family had a fabulous time spending Thanksgiving at this beautiful home. The house is warm and spacious. The multiple levels of decks, balconies, and the floating dock really drew us to spend most of our time outdoors. We were unsure how much we would enjoy being on the lake, since it was the off-season, but it was a blast venturing off in the kayaks and paddleboards that are provided at the property. The property owner was very helpful and accomodating, and the communication was great. We hope to come back this summer! Thanks!

Great Week

This was our 4th annual family vacation - there were 10 of us from 2 years old to 69 years old - and Sunny Disposition is our favorite house so far. Host Regina was very nice and answered our questions promptly. The house is beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Kids and adults had a blast on the kayaks, paddle boards and nearby jumping rocks. We even rented a pontoon for a day which was surprisingly affordable compared to past marinas. There are a lot of steps down to the dock but they are well-maintained with several landings to take a break if necessary. We have already talked about returning next year.

Family Fun

Wonderful property with a few glitches. Luckily Husband is a plumber and connected downstairs sink. Everything was great except for a few things we weren't told about. Minimal trash bags and dishwasher detergent. Had to buy battery for downstairs fan. Deck and steps didn't appear to have been blown off so we had to sweep them. Space was great, plenty of room.

Hi Lori, we are glad you enjoyed our lake home. We think it’s pretty special. I am sorry that your husband had to connect a sink. The renter prior to you made no mention of that, and we were unaware that it was disconnected. Many thanks to your husband! We did mention in your welcome email that there was only a starter set of trash bags, and we will make sure to add the dishwasher detergent to that email as well. Hope to see you again!
