Everything was fine and the condo was what we needed. We had previously booked the same dates on Kauai, but the property was damaged by Hurricane Lowell and they cancelled our reservation. Since we were already in a house near Hilo for four nights, we decided to try to find something in Kona. The condo was only 8 miles from the Kona airport which allowed us to fly to Kauai to take a pre-booked helicopter tour and fly back the same day. My only complaint with this rental is the parking. There are two assigned parking spaces that line up back to front. They are the first parking spot on the left entering the garage and made it necessary to pull into an empty space almost across from ours and back diagonally into ours. When that space was full we had to use others to turn around and back in from the entrance. We only had one car, so with much back-and-forth direction from my travel partner I was able to back in. It was so tight (12 inches on either side) that it was also necessary to get direction from outside the car to pull out. Unfortunately, those spaces are assigned to that particular condo and our host had no say in where we park. For this reason alone, I would not return to this location. I WOULD, HOWEVER, TRY TO RENT A DIFFERENT PROBERTY FROM THIS HOST SHOULD I RETURN TO KONA because other than the parking they were very helpful.
