Inspireret af sangen er denne søde plet lige så tæt på himlen på jorden som vi har fundet. Omgivet af frodige skove, vil du føle dig i en med naturen fra det øjeblik du træder på verandaen. Et spisestue med bord og stole venter dig udenfor.


Når du træder ind, bliver du mødt med en mur af vinduer, der fanger skønheden i de store modne træer på bjergsiden. En stor stak pejs med hyggelige gas logs sidder i hjørnet af stuen og et fuldt udstyret spisekøkken er i den anden ende. Se dit yndlingsprogram på et fladskærms-tv, eller nyd naturens lyde i boblebadet på det udvendige dæk med udsigt til de smukke skove rundt om huset.


Hovedetagen har også en konge soveværelse med eget bad (spabad og brusebad) og fladskærms-tv på kabel. Hvis du har nogen, der ikke kan klatre trin, kan du komme ind i huset og på hovedetagen uden at tage nogen trapper.

Mountain retreat

Thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend in the mountains. Our cabin was very nice, clean and comfortable. Loved waking up to the great views, will use these folks again.

Amazing House!

Wonderful Cabin and Great Time

Thanks Kellee. As with all mountain homes, the roads getting to the house can be steep but the parking at Sanctuary Song is very spacious and flat once you arrive at the location. Bears are frequent guests--we are sorry you felt gun shy to stay in the hot tub on the deck. Glad we could address the maintenance issue in a timely fashion for you! We hope to see you again soon.

Nice getaway

Since the cabin is tucked in the woods you don't really have a view of anything but trees. The hot tub is very nice and the inside furniture is nice. Everything was clean and ready and nice. The main bedroom window could use some heavy curtains to block light better.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third visit with Mountain Laurel Chalets but our first stay at Sanctuary Song and it was fabulous! We brought another couple with us who had not visited the area and they loved the area and the chalet. The view is great - we spent so many hours sipping drinks on the deck and enjoying the view and solitude. The chalet is very clean but the deck is in need of a power washing and staining. We saw bears every day and love observing them on our trips. We will definitely stay here again.

Even better than expected

The atmosphere was perfect. Master bedroom was huge with a covered deck. Driving up and down the mountain took 20 -30 minutes, but once down, Gatlinburg was just a few minutes away. I would recommend bring groceries as the stores are quite a distance. Definitely returning next year.

The downstairs bedroom is very spacous with private access to the downstairs deck which is covered by the main deck above. The drive down the mountain may seem to take forever, but it is actually only 3 miles and takes about 10 minutes to get to the Parkway at light number 10. The grocery store, however, is outside town about 3 miles, so getting groceries on the way in is a good idea, especially if it's during a busy time of year. We hope you will be able to return to the mountains soon.

Relaxing interiors w beautiful furnishings and super large master suite. Wonderful views, specially at sunrise and sunset. We are seniors and enjoyed relaxing, reading and painting, but we also joined the kids for some hiking, tram rides, shopping and the Christmas Arts and Crafts show. We saw bears, raccoons and a large buck. The drive up the mountain is challenging, but the serenity and views up top are worth it. The cabin is handicap accessible and we were greeted with a Christmas tree and beautiful fire place.

Nice Cabin

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at this cabin. Everything was so clean and decorated well. We had bears visit almost every single day. So be prepared to see bears. As with any stay in the mountains the hills can be pretty steep to drive up to if you aren’t used to mountain roads. You will definitely need a 4 wheel drive in the winter months. The cabin was not too close to any other cabin so we felt we had our privacy. The only thing that needs to be updated is the deck. It really needs to be sanded and repainted. Also a swing chair outside would be awesome. During our first night we realized our blender was broken. We called and they brought a new one the next morning. The man who brought it was very kind and knowledgeable about the area as well.

And remotes were in the wrong rooms. But, this was a nice place, and I would recommend to family and friends.

I do not know what the previous reviews are saying about the cabin having no view as we had an incredible view of the Sunrise and mountains every morning (it looks like maybe the trees that were blocking the view at one point were cut down- in any case, AMAZING view!!). The Hot Tub was an added bonus we were able to enjoy. Highly recommended cabin to stay at with your family.

Christmas Week in Gatlinburg

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The hill to get to the chalet was very steep, but hey we have a Jeep! Our daughter and son-in-law’s car was more like the “Little Engine that Could” in getting up there. Loved the Christmas decorations- simplistic but inviting, loved the openness of the cabin and fireplace, loved the huge downstairs bedroom suite and the other bedroom was also a nice suite, enjoyed the pool table, didn’t use the hot tub. We brought much of our own specialty cooking stuff (crock pot, Ninja Foodie Grill, etc), but it has the basics of what you need. We stopped at the grocery store before check in, as it saved time.. The office is convenient and very accommodating.
