Excellent East Beach Windswept unit!

We have been coming to Kiawah often since 1983 and Windswept in East Beach is our favorite location to stay. This unit is outstanding…beautiful view of the ocean, light and airy updated decor with open floor plan, expansive deck access, great view from all three bedrooms, and exceptional access to the beach. Akers Ellis was responsive every time we called for anything. We hope to return here on our next trip to the island.

Windswept review

We had a great time during fall break - the condo was amazing- so nice that all bedrooms had an oceanfront view. Bathrooms were immaculate. Nice porch area. One helpful thing to have known was that there is an elevator right outside the condo that was very helpful with luggage! Will definitely return!

Beautiful oceanfront condo

Very comfortable. Gorgeous view of the ocean. Excellent outdoor space for a condominium. Nice furniture, comfortable new flooring. Bathrooms are especially elegant for a rental condominium. Would try to buy it if I could. Rental/Real estate company that manages the property is excellent to work with.

Super nice and clean. Safe during pandemic!

As soon as we walked in, we were impressed with how spotless and beautiful the condo was - exactly how advertised. We loved the decks overlooking the ocean. Everything we needed was provided from cooking utensils to cleaning supplies. The new updates gave the whole space a fresh feel. No problems with anything.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Being on the ocean is always fantastic, the people working for Askers Ellis have always been excellent to work with. The unit we stayed in had enough space to move around in, the décor and unit itself are in need of a re-model, we were not comfortable being in the unit, the ocean views made our stay memorable, we would not rent this unit again.

September getaway

Overall a good experience. The unit was in good shape but would recommend the 2 non master bedrooms be upgraded. Especially the baths. Shower curtain liners need replacing. Also need to check on clothes dryer. It will not let you cancel a cycle and continues to beep at you. Only way to end it is to run another cycle and immediately open the door when it buzzes.

Thank you for your feedback. Our maintenance team will address the shower curtains and dryer issues you mention so they are not a problem moving forward. The owner is renovating this unit over the winter of 2019 and will be done early 2020.

Always nice to visit Kiawah Island
