Wonderful Beach Home! Perfect for Large Families!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at this well-kept 2-story home in Ventura, only minutes from the beach! It was perfect for accommodating our large family during our stay, as my sister was hosting her baby shower in the Ventura area. Convenient location and all the amenities we love! Large outdoor pool, hot tub, outdoor kitchen and the outdoor shower was a lovely bonus! Thank you for such a lovely stay!

We had an awesome time! Home was beautiful, it was very clean and ready to host! The neighborhood was quiet and lined with beautiful homes. Parking for me and family visiting (rental cars) was plenty! We were able to park 4 rental cars on the property. The pool was AMAZING! It kept a nice temperature that we were able to swim in it every day, even on the cloudy days. Beautiful back yard, it was very accommodating for our family gathering and eating. Eating and shopping is walking distance, shopped at Von's, drinks from Starbucks, ate at the Sushi Restaurant, and walked the beach. The home had plenty of dishes, pots/pans, cleaning items, towels, blanets, pillows... very ready to host a large family visiting town. I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to enjoy this home.

This house was great! The pool was amazing and the highlight of the weekend. The house has air conditioning, which was great because it was a hot weekend (this was not mentioned in the listing). Master bedroom was downstairs and perfect for my elderly parents (walkin shower). Would definitely stay here again.

Family get away

We grew up in Ventura County and we returned to attend the strawberry festival. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable and the pool/hot tub was great. The dishwasher top shelf needed fixed but other than that the house was great.

High School graduation brought us to this wonderful home away from home. Our stay at this property was magical, slow quiet morning coffee time, and bustling evenings with all of my adult children and grandchildren gathered in one place for meals, games, and time at the pool and hot tub. Comfy beds, and a master rain shower head that is like heaven. I think we're in for a bathroom remodel at home

We stayed at the property last year. We were amazed and surprised with the upgrades. A remodeled kitchen with new appliances. A remodeled master bathroom with two sinks and a walk in shower. The best surprise was the addition of a powder room. We hope to stay there again next year.

Great location and pool

We had our kids and grandkids for a bit more than a week. The pool and jacuzzi were used a lot, and worked well. Pool cover provided some comfort with a 2 and 4 year old with us. House is a 10 minute walk to the beach and close to restaurants and grocery store. House needs some TLC and attention to deferred maintenance. But overall we had a great experience.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the pool, house met our needs. Would recommend a book available with needed information, like where to find remotes for pool, how to use some appliances. Property would benefit from updated bathrooms and the dishwasher needs relaced. They staff at Remax were very helpful and responded promptly to our questions.

Pool and hot tub were great. Quiet neighborhood. Not beach front. 5ish minute bike ride to the beach bike path. Near Vons grocery by car. Some of the outlets are loose. The dishwasher needs to be descaled and/or needs rinse aide -- the dishes come out looking dirty. If it rains the day before, ask property management to take the water off the pool cover -- they told us to find a bucket and take the water out ourselves to open the pool (super inconvenient and it was a ton of labor).

Thank you for your feedback and for sharing your experience. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and peaceful neighborhood. We apologize for the inconvenience with the pool cover — unfortunately, we didn’t have anyone available to assist until the following day, and we understand that was frustrating. We also appreciate your notes about the outlets and dishwasher; our team is addressing those items to ensure a smoother stay for future guests. We hope to welcome you back again soon!

Comfortable Home

My family came in from out of town and we needed a place big and roomy enough to house everyone. The house was perfect! it was very comfortable. Love the big comfy couch and the beds were also comfy. The location was central to all we wanted to do around Ventura. My only complaint is the pool and jacuzzi were not heated and there were no instructions around to turn on the pool or jacuzzi. We finally figured it out, however as you know it takes a few days to heat up a pool or jacuzzi. We were able to use it on the third day and just bared the cold on the second day. Other than that great stay! The house has all you need. Will definitely rent again.

Great Vacation Home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our three-generation family of 8 found this to be an excellent choice for our one week vacation. The master downstairs was good for me with bad knees. We allowed others to use the bathroom rather than running upstairs or when someone else was showering upstairs. The heated pool and spa was a huge hit and was used a lot. We walked the 1/2 mile to the beach once or twice a day, but really preferred the pool. Great location, quiet neighborhood and well equipped. Would love to return.

Great location and nice pool

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stay here for the location and the pool/spa. The bathrooms need some updating and simple fixes to make it a little more private and convenient for bigger groups/families. The beds were not very comfortable, but were fine for a couple of nights. Other than that, the location is amazing and there were lots of parks and nice walks to do with kids. We spent a lot of time in the spa and pool, which both kids and adults loved!

Terrible experience

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unsatisfactory condition of the property. Plumbing issues. Garbage issues. Safety issues. The only good thing was a pool (and location), but the house is not in a good condition and we had to fix and clean a lot of things on our own to stay there.
