My friends and I spent a marvelous weekend at the Pierpont Bay house celebrating my 40th birthday. This house has been beautifully furnished and updated, with incredibly thoughtful design. Tim has clearly put so much work into making this house a truly perfect place for entertaining, relaxing, and enjoying the beach. Perfect place for a friend of family reunion / celebration. We were all sad to have to go back to LA! Thank you, Tim!

Great house and location! We were in town for a big family event and the house was perfect for my family. Lots of space, comfortable beds and nice furniture and decorations.

This property was so wonderful! It was beautiful, spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The garage had so many great items for the beach and bicycles. We had the best time and loved how the home was decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed too! The backyard and decks were awesome! The owner was amazing and attentive to any needs we had!

Well stocked house

We enjoyed staying here. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you could possibly want. The patio couch was dirty.

A former Pierpont resident, I visit the area often. This home is an easy walk to the beach, is beautifully lit and easily shaded, has comfortable beds and lush linens, a FULLY stocked kitchen, and a gorgeous backyard. The host is communicative and accommodating and I am already planning my next return "home."

My family of 6 and I wanted to stay in a place that felt warm and inviting, yet lived in. We have three young children and three adults who stayed in the rental. We also needed an office space for remote work. This house was perfect for us. It offered lots of space inside and in the backyard to play and relax. The ocean was a very short walk, which made it so easy to bring kids to the beach. There are parks, a playground, restaraunts, grocery stores, and shops all within walking distance. Also, the Ventura pier is only a short bike or jog away. This house had everything we needed. I would highly recommend you check it out!

Vacation

Our stay was great. House was everything thing as listed. Very spacious, beautiful backyard, and a 2 minute walk to beach. We were in town for Spencer McKenzies Throwdown, location of house was within minutes of anything we did or needed. I would highly recommend.

Coastal Vacation

Perfect for our family (3 different households!) to share comfortably. The living area was open and well lit, and the outdoor patio was quite beautiful with its coastal succulents. Location was totally favorable with being just a block from the beach. The heated outdoor shower felt so nice to wash our sandy feet and suits. The bicycle and beach gear were a fun perk. Staying here totally made it feel like a vacation and provided the space for our family to connect.

Great location in Ventura

The house was in a great location and close to the beach, parks and a few restaurants. The kitchen was well stocked and we grilled and cooked a couple meals at the house. There are a couple bikes that were great to ride the bike trails and to the parks on the ocean. We had more than enough room and we were super comfortable hanging out at the house. The queen beds upstairs were very comfortable. The back yard was a great space to hang out. This is a perfect place for a group or a family with kids.

Even better than the pictures!

We had a wonderful stay - the home is spacious, well-designed, full of light, and with open doors an ocean breeze. You can even see the ocean through the skylight in the loft. It seems like someone's second home that you are visiting - the furniture and artwork are beautiful and the kitchen is fully stocked. They thought of every detail. Each room has a different appeal (balcony, back yard screen door, skylight, lot, children's room). There are plenty of regular towels and beach towels and beach supplies. The backyard has a great table for a big family dinner. An excellent spot for a family reunion.

Charming Stay with Nostalgic Charm at Pierpont

Our recent stay at Pierpont was a wonderful experience filled with nostalgia and comfort. The old-school décor reminiscent of Ventura's heritage added a charming touch that felt like a trip down memory lane. Located conveniently, it served as a perfect base for accommodating family members during a difficult time as we organized my mom's memorial service. Tim's responsiveness through messaging was commendable, ensuring our needs were promptly met. The thoughtful labeling of amenities streamlined our food preparation process, making our stay even more convenient. Moreover, being on the beach side of Ventura provided a refreshing change, offering new perspectives even for someone familiar with the east side. Overall, our stay at Pierpont was delightful, and I would not hesitate to choose it again for future family gatherings. It truly encapsulated the essence of Ventura's charm and hospitality.

Great stay by the beach with all the best Mid Century touches!

We stayed at the Mid Century Beach Lodge for a weekend, and we can't wait to go back! We were a big group of 3 families and we all fit nicely. We stuck the kids in one room, and the adults each got their own room. The kids LOVED the loft, they took their toys straight up there and played. We had a baby with us, and thankfully there was a baby gate so we could block the staircases. But the kids aside, the adults had a wonderful time! The main floor had great space to lounge, and the kitchen was well labeled and stocked. The chef in our group was delighted by the many spice options as he worked to cook us delicious meals. We found everything we needed in the house, and for those who love a good Mid Century this house is decorated so well! The location of course is the best part, being one block from the beach. We spent the weekend running back and forth to the beach with ease, and you are a short drive to downtown. Such a wonderful house, definitely our new favorite in our favorite beach town!

This beach house was everything we expected. It was a short walk to the beach, and a little bit longer walk to the beach park where we were able to launch our kayaks. We had two rooms on the kitchen level and two rooms on the garage level which included the twin bed kids room. The house was equipped with a lot of extras like two surf boards, two boogie boards, two bikes and a smokeless fire pit. The driveway provided parking for two cars and one car could go in the garage. We would recommend this place for an 8-10 person family.

Our family enjoyed this property for Mothers’s Day & it did not disappoint. The home was clean & it was in a prime location for what we wanted to do on this trip. Close to the beach & the Keys. Loved that it was dog friendly & the backyard was enclosed & large enough for them to run around & play. Unfortunately you cannot see the beach / harbor from the property but it’s close in walking distance to both! Would recommend. Tim (our host) was very attentive & welcoming.
