September holiday

Owners very helpful, queries dealt with quickly. Lovely welcome pack for all guests including homemade biscuits for the dog. Fantastic views from balcony, this is our second stay at this property, close to Beach and vrious places to eat. Courtyard cafe has the best cakes.

Great holiday!

Had a great week here. The house had everything you could wish for....a real home from home. Fantastic location...just a few minutes stroll to the beach and lots of places to eat and drink within walking distance. We will be back!

Our familys special place

Spent the weekend at Benthall House celebrating Dad/Grandads 80th birthday.We arrived to to birthday banner and balloons in the hallway bottle of wine and chocs in the kitchen with birthday wishes, thanks Sam .Warm house clean beds and towels plenty of parking and a safe garden for our dog Freddie.What more could you ask. yes the weather. We were blessed by sunshine and clear skies at night. The stars and the northern lights viewed from a night time walk on the beach. This was our fourth visit to Benthall House we love it and will be booking again for next year

June 4th stay

Having not visited Beadnell before we were so happy to find the house located as described and it was so lovely to have the welcome pack! The house was tidy and clean, the utility room was perfect for the dogs and the kitchen is so well equipped! There was nothing to say was a negative and we will certainly be back thank you so much!

Fabulous location, shame about the dust

Lovely location, knowing Beadnell very well. Lovely house but marred by the dust and cobwebs, such a shame. We enjoyed our stay regardless.

Family seaside holiday

An excellent location and a very nice house. Plenty of space for everyone and fabulous sea views from the balcony. We were lucky enough to see a large pod of dolphins and an otter feeding one evening.

Our fourth stay in this lovely property and already booked for next year. A short walk to a great beach. Good food in the Craster Arms and the fish and chip van. Enjoyed visiting Seahouses, Bamburgh and Alnwick.

The Best

Yet another wonderful stay at our favourite holiday home. It has everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of cutlery crockery & utensils. The oven is huge if you intend to cook for a large group. We love the space,plenty of comfortable sitting areas to watch both sunrise & sunset. The bedrooms are very comfortable & having3 bathrooms is a real plus. The location is excellent our grandsons love the accessibility of the beach to fly kites & do watersports but also rockpooling all within 2 minutes walk. Must also mention the owners, a wonderful family extremely friendly & helpful nothing is too much trouble. We also loved the new welcome pack. To sum up we will be back.

A perfect place for relaxing, dog walks in the beach and good food

Benthall house is a lovely place to stay , fully equipped for everything you’ll need. Long beaches close by for great walks. Easy walking to seahouses (40 mins) for some wonderful food at the Black Swan ..

Great house, wonderful hosts.

We have stayed here twice before and we were so pleased when the house came back up for rental. Lovely spacious house in a superb location. The sea is directly opposite and provides a great backdrop to the first floor lounge and balcony. Beadnell beach is one of the best beaches in Northumberland and is a short five minute walk away. The house is clean, very comfortable with modern touches. It has all the amenities you need for a relaxing weeks stay. Especially helpful for us is that it is dog friendly. The rear garden is safe and secure and a good size for dogs to run around in if they have any energy left after the beach and swim. The hose provided makes rinsing them off easy. A special mention for the hosts. So helpful, a lovely welcome pack for both humans and dogs. . Great communication. We will definitely be back. Thank you Sam.

Another perfect stay

We have stayed at this property on a number of occasions and will definitely book again. The house is lovely and clean and well equipped for a large family. A secure garden for both dogs and children. A perfect location very close to the beach.

Benthall house

Benthall house was a home from home. We loved the upstairs lounge, with the view out towards the sea. It was central in Beadnell, which was great for our old Lurcher, who can’t walk too far, a walk down to the harbour in the evening to watch the sunset was ideal for him. We even saw a few sunrises from the balcony, which made me happy. Be aware that rabbits visit the garden, though they usually disappeared when they heard the door open or you switched the light on. It would help if there was another outside light on the corner of the sunroom. The hamper was a lovely gesture and Fergal loved the homemade dog treats, and he can be fussy. The kitchen had everything you’d need to cook. The TVs were easy to use and you could log in to your apps if you needed too. I only contacted Sam once about extra runners as our dog couldn’t walk on the laminate, and she replied quickly to say there were extra ones in the garage, as she’d forgot to put them down before we arrived. Being a 13 year old dog, he did struggle with the steps up into the house and the stairs up to the lounge, so bear in mind if you have an old dog or an older or less mobile person with you, but once in the house there is a downstairs bedroom, bathroom & seating area. We were also blessed with lovely weather too, which was a bonus at it was beginning October

Beautiful house great location

Beautiful house stunning views and a great location. Well stocked with everything to make it home from home. Homemade cake and bottle of wine on arrival makes your arrival extra special. Great base to see surrounding area make sure you do not miss the small harbour and beautiful beach 2 mins walk away.

Lovely house, perfect location

We had a lovely stay at Benthall House. Plenty of space indoors with 3 bathrooms and a nice sized garden for the pooch. Lovely cake waiting for us on our arrival was a nice treat. A stones throw away from the beach. 'The Landing' and 'The Bae' were close by for food.

We have stayed at Benthall house twice previously and couldn't wait to return. Such a lovely property with fab sea views from the upstairs lounge. Great for a stay on the Northumbrian coast. Thank you to Sam and all of the team.

Family holiday

We have had a great week at Benthall House. So much thought has gone in to what the owners provide down to beach towels and barbecue coals etc. Very comfortable and lots of space for a big family. Safe enclosed garden for our little dogs. Could not find fault. Location is amazing for the beach and views from house are great. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying again another time.
