Very nice Trullo, perfect location close to Alberobello and also close to Polignano and Monopoli. Excellent communication with Maud, we had a very good stay and we recommend.

This is a lovely property and it has been really well done and maintains the originality of the Trulli. It was very comfortable and the outside area is really large with a wonderful swimming pool and lots of places to sit and enjoy it, with a great bbq area too. It’s about a 15/20 walk into Locorotondo which is a wonderful town with plenty of restaurants and bars, and a good base to explore other Puglian towns. One small thing to note is that there are no pool towels so we had to buy these at the local supermercato. Communication with Maud was very efficient and prompt at all times.

Beautiful villa in a great location. Very private, with easy access to all the historic towns, beaches and countryside of Puglia, for the perfect combination of relaxation and exploration! The full variety of cooking facilities and laundry make life easy. The kids loved the pool! Thanks Maud!

We loved our stay in Locorotondo! The house was beautiful and very unique and make our stay in Puglia very special. We had plenty of space for our guests and even had a cooking class at the house which was one of the most memorable parts of our trip. The yard and grounds of the house are lovely and the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring the area. Would love to rent it again if we’re ever back in the area!

Wonderful Holiday

Amazing location. Perfect for exploring Locorotondo and the surrounding area. Property is well equipped with a beautiful garden and an amazing pool. Maud was a pleasure to deal with. Excellent communication and a very professional host.

Lovely Trullo

The 5 of us stayed for a long week in August - the Trullo is lovely and set in large grounds. We particualrly made use of the pool in the hot weather! It's just outside the lovely Locrotondo too!

A very comfortable Trulli home.

The owner was very helpful giving us lots of pins on the map to find everything we needed. The salt water pool is fabulous and the garden is beautiful. It was a very relaxing holiday. We especially enjoyed tasting wine in the vineyard of Locorotundo whilst looking out over the valley at sunset.

Perfect!

The surroundings, the location (close to locorotondo), the pool and of course the Trullo itself were all brilliant. It's a perfect base to venture out into puglia, at the same time also very nice to stay a day (or more!) at the Trullo itself and hang around the pool and have a BBQ at night. Thx!

Easter in Locorotondo

A lovely property, great facilities, good location in a stunning area. Our younger family members loved the pool and the wood oven was a particular favorite of the family. Great communication from Maud. Very clean property. Thanks for a lovely week in Locorotondo

A Puglian dream for a multi-generational family

We stayed in Mauds beautiful trullo for a week in late June with two young children and my elderly mother. The house was well equipped both inside and out and Maud is a fantastic and responsive host. The gardens are stunning and we ate all our meals (including a bbq one night) outside enjoying the beautiful views. The pool is a godsend and we used it abundantly. Theres a great supermarket 2 mins away and the town is a 5 minute drive. Puglia and Locorotondo charmed us all, we can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful house in nice surrounding

We enjoined our 2 weeks holiday in the beautiful house, garden and pool. The house was clean and big enough for my family and the parents in law. The garden and pool are great and it was nice to spend time at the terrace, having a BBQ or a pizza from the pizza oven. Maude the landlord was very nice and took care of all our questions. Overall we had a great time and maybe will come back sometimes.

We loved the pool after a morning exploring nearby towns. It was very well equipped, clean and the air con was great too. Maud was absolutely brilliant in her communication and was on hand with her advice when we were deciding whether to hire a car or not. We did in the end and were glad about it as we could be much more flexible with our days out. The internet was a bit slow occasionally but that was to be expected in the countryside. Overall a fabulous holiday.

Wonderful stay at Trulli Maud

There was four of us and we had a wonderful stay at Trulli Maud for 6 nights. The house was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We had wonderful weather which allowed us to spend a lot of time outdoors enjoying the pool area and the garden. We ate all our meals on the patio. The house was centrally located to many sites including Matera which we made a day trip to. It was an easy walk to Loccorotondo where we had some very good meals and the best gelato overlooking the valley. Maud was easily accessible throughout our stay. I highly recommend Trulli Maud!

Marvelous

"This villa is our pride and our joy" is the personal introduction of the detailed and well illustrated welcome package that we have received from the owner right before our arrival. Nothing describes it better than what you find: a beautiful Trulli style villa in a generously property. Everything is well designed and in very good condition, the communication was very personal and reliable. The beauty of the region around Locorotondo and Martina Franca needs no further explanation. For my family and me it was an unforgettable stay.

Wonderful house in a beautiful location

This house has everything you would want when visiting this incredible region. Staying in genuine Tullo, set in a large Olive grove with a beautiful swimming pool ticks every box! The house is within 15 minutes stroll of the centre of enchanting Locorotondo, with a host of restaurants and cafes. The garden has many lovely features, different places to sit and relax during the day and evening; a genuine pizza oven, which we loved! The house inside is well appointed with all the necessary facilities; Maud is a fantastic host, communicates quickly and thoroughly, and was able to solve minor issues without any fuss. I can't think that you would find a better solution if you were visiting this area.

Gorgeous week in October

We consider ourselves very lucky for choosing the right time and place. Trulli of Valle d’Itria make you feel being in a fairy tale and here you are living in one. Olive trees surrounding the house also add to the atmosphere. House is spacious enough with generous living/dining area and compact but functional kitchen. The pool is a big bonus. We used it even in October although it was refreshing to say mildly. Location of the house is perfect for exploring neighboring white towns and more distant Polignano a Mare ( 30 min), Grotaglie or Taranto(40 min), Matera (1.20 hours). My only regret is that with so many things to see we didn’t have time to make our own pizza in the outdoor pizza oven :)

Amazing find!

I can’t speak highly enough of this beautiful home and its wonderful owner, Maud. She made sure that we had everything we needed and was always quick to respond to our questions. She truly went above and beyond to make sure we had an incredible stay. Outside, the garden was beautiful and the pool was divine! We dined outdoors most days. The location was quiet, but close enough to Locorotondo so that everything needed was nearby. We found this to be the perfect home base for exploring Puglia. The inside was full of charm, thoughtful design, and modern conveniences. We appreciated the AC in the evenings and having a dishwasher was really nice since we often dined in. The beds were comfortable and the place felt very spacious for our group of 5. Hoping to stay again!! Thank you, Maud!

Beautiful Trulli....the best place!

We had the most fantastic week in Locorotondo staying at Trullo Maudi. The house is magnificent and has everything you could wish for. The garden and pool are beautiful. The pool is so nice to swim in and even though it was still a little cold we really appreciated the water which was so much nicer than chlorinated pools. The garden is very private and spacious and we really enjoyed it all. Comfy beds, nice bbq, lots of great outdoor seating areas, this place has it all. It is easy to walk into locorotondo and we did so every day we least once. There is an excellent bakery only few hundred meters from the house where we had lots of nice coffee and pastries. Nice restaurants close by and good options for takeaway as well. Maud is fantastic host and was very helpful and communicative throughout our stay. Cant recommended this place enough, we hope to return. Thanks Maud x
