Great family trip

The accommodations were perfect and everybody we came into contact with were exceptionally nice and helpful. The unit was on the end so the view from the back bedroom was nice too. We’ll definitely be back.

I really enjoyed my stay here!

I had stayed in the Ritz Carlton hotel 3 days prior to staying in the condos and I loved them both equally. The condos were better for my family because they had the washer/dryer, multiple bathrooms, and televisions. The WiFi was amazing and I enjoyed still being able to access the amenities of the Ritz like the pool and room service! The room was spotless, checkin was a breeze secure this location if you can!

Unbelievable center

This was an absolutely perfect stay. GORGEOUS condo, immaculately clean and wonderful amenities. We were a family of grandparents, parents, and two small children (10 months and 2.5y). The grounds were very impressively landscaped, the housekeeping was impressive and honestly everything felt lux and easy. I can't say enough good things about the service we received. We will certainly be back, can't recommend this more for families!

Wonderful Condo with every Ritz Amenity!

We were so pleasantly surprised at the service this condo provided us. Arrival The room was wonderful but was set up as two kings and two twins, with a few calls to the concierge, were able to get that fixed. Please be advised there is only one true king mattress, the others are twins pushed together to make a king. There are lots of amenities in the room, including wonderful local coffee (replenished at no cost), Tervis tumblers, a great bar set for making cocktails, and full kitchen equipment. There is a list of spices that can be provided as well with no charge. Daily housekeeping was wonderful and they replenished everything even down to the laundry detergent. I would suggest booking Kelly's Taxi (recommended by the host) to arrange your transportation from the airport. Having groceries delivered to the room by Moe's Market was very convenient - but they were 20-30% more expensive than purchasing them in Red Hook plus there were delivery and service charges. I would bet we could have saved $100-150 by taking a taxi and getting them ourselves. At the Resort The service was amazing. If you want to dine at the restaurants on-site - I do recommend making reservations. It was not needed for the Bluewater Breakfast Buffet (10/10!!) but it was for the Steakhouse (begins with an A) and the Coconut Cove. There are lots of activities throughout the week if you want to take advantage, some free and some paid (Lady Lyndsey sunset cruise, unlimited watersports, spa). We loved being able to use all of the different pools and get different views of the bay. The water slide was so much fun and we rented a Cabana for the day to make a pool day a little different. Very reasonable Cabana prices compared to Vegas/Other Resorts. The staff had aloe, sunscreen, etc available as well as fresh fruit-infused water. The Ritz Hotel side also passed around teas, smoothies, and on one occasion shots of rum for everyone! I truly felt like we were staying at a very expensive hotel when we were at this condo! The concierge was great at calling taxis for us from the Ritz to Red Hook ($5/pp each way) and there is a free shuttle to take you to Caribbean Fish Market or Sunset Grill - both are wonderful but Sunset Grill is what I would recommend- the views and the menu are superior. We would absolutely stay at this property and at this VRBO again. We are already chatting with our family about when we can take a trip back. We had a great time and I highly recommend it!

Great property, exceptional staff, ugly beach full of seaweed on the residence side-wish we had known prior to stay; lower ratings due to beachfront only, rooms & other grounds were great!!

While it isn't ideal, we're told the seaweed is seasonal but the Ritz has full-time staff on a daily basis, all day long, dedicated to keeping up with the beach. beautiful &easy

i booked this rather last minute for a Christmas getaway for my family. it was a pleasant suprise as to how easy the booking was and the great accommodations. The Rtiz at St. thomas is beautiful and had experiences for the entire family to enjoy.

Beautiful, family-friendly stay

We stayed in the 3 bedroom condo and it was really spacious and beautiful! The staff on resort was very welcoming and accommodating and the resort grounds are just beautiful. The pool area is great. The beach has lost a lot of sand due to hurricanes but they're working on bringing more in and it is still really beautiful and just steps away from the pool. Our experience with the host on this listing was also great, very responsive to questions and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

5 star condo, average service

This condo at the Ritz was on the 6th Floor, gorgeous ocean view, simply beautiful and fully equipped. Maid service was excellent, with the exception of one day they forgot a few things. The pool service was average. Minimal drink service at poolside chairs. When we arrived at the resort they informed us there was an addition $25 per day fee, which would not have been an issue, however, we were also informed at the same time that all the restaurants at the resort, except one, would be closed for 4 out of the 8 days due to a changeover in management. Room service was available but very expensive. We ordered a bottle of wine and chocolate chip cookies and the charge was over $90. The bartenders were excellent at the pool side restaurant (which remained open) and very attentive. All the pools were beautiful and well maintained and the infinity pool at the Ritz was great. The beach at the resort was an adequate size, not huge. The bottom of the ocean was somewhat rocky, but if you bring water shoes you'll be ok. Taxi drivers were fairly pleasant and reasonable, however staff at some outside restaurants and establishments were unfriendly and did the bare minimum for tourists. Being close to Red Hook was convenient, for groceries, shopping, and outside restaurants. Pesce Italian restaurant in Red Hook was great, service and staff were excellent. Take the Red Hook ferry to St John for the day. Beautiful beaches, taxi service right off the ferry. Trunk and Cinnamon Bay are truly spectacular.
