Sweet apartment

Apartment is very nice. There are stairs...a little difficult with heavy luggage. There is no grocery store close by. The train station is close.

Beautiful Boston home!

We enjoyed our stay so much. The place was perfect for the three of us. Everything was well taken care of and clean. Staying here made our visit to Boston even more fun. We enjoyed walking to the subway, park and art museum which were within easy walking distance. The owners responded quickly to questions and we had no problems during our stay. I would love to stay here again. The only things I would want to make sure were known that I wasn’t aware of is that it is a second floor walk up and the claw tub could be difficult for people with mobility issues. Neither of these impacted our stay but if you have trouble with stairs or getting in a tall tub this wouldn’t be a great place for you. For us though it was perfect!

Fun Boston Long Weekend

My husband and I wanted a cozy place for two near Boston's downtown. This apartment was perfect. The small well furnished kitchen was great for fixing our breakfasts, the bed was comfortable and the living/dining room areas were just the right size. We loved our accomodations and our visit to Boston.

Such a Treat!

I was very fortunate to meet Terri the first night I was there. He was very kind and helped me with my luggage. The apartment was just as it is pictured. I loved the cozy kitchen that was super easy to cook in. The bedroom made me feel like I was in a treehouse with a big window. I know people have reported if there were people upstairs you could hear them…you could. But, you are in a city, and there were lots of wonderful noises to remind you. I doubt, unless you are many stories up, you could find a quiet place in Boston. That said, it wasn’t really all that noisy. The Inn is on a dead end street. I walked around the area and met many of the neighbors. What a great little community. I know, when I go back to Boston, this is where I will be staying. Thank you! Warm regards, Ellie

Cozy Place

We stayed just a few days and we’re only home to sleep. It is a very cozy place. Although we didn’t really use the kitchenI loved the layout and it looked well stocked.

Nights in the Roxbury

The property was exactly as described. Clean, easily accessible, comfortable, and close to most main attractions. Property manager was helpful and responsive. The one bedroom with pull out couch was perfect for the three of us. I’d definitely stay at this property again and would recommend it for looking for a getaway to Boston. We found Uber was the best means of transportation for us, Uber drivers are plentiful. The best family vacation we’ve ever taken.

What a hidden treasure!!

Terry, the owner, was very easy to get ahold of and he was extremely hospitible. This hidden gem of a place was absolutely beautiful! AC was super appreciated, parking was a bit of a challenge but par for the course of Boston, personal touches made it feel like home, LOTS of tourist info, easy tv use in livingroom and bedroom, an Alexa was an added bonus, comfy bed and lots of pillows to choose from, kitchen was a perfect size with all that we needed for food/ meal prep, plenty of storage for personal items and a short walk to the T and/ or other sites. Neighborhood was better than expected. LOVED it here and would definitely recommend!!

Beautiful Boston apartment

We loved staying here! It's cozy and comfortable, with one of the best-equipped kitchens we've ever had at a Vrbo vacation, and it's very handy to the T and to neighborhood shops and restaurants. Here's how great a host Terry is: we mentioned to him that the living room could do with a better light for reading, thinking that he might follow up on this comment for the future; when we got home that very evening, an excellent reading lamp was waiting for us outside the door of the apartment. We'll definitely stay here again on future visits to Boston.

Really enjoyed our stay

Wonderful accommodating clean nice decor plus kitchen. We had the bedroom and niece the pull out bed. First night the pull out bed lost air but the niece can sleep on anywhere from what we see. We were amazed, the owner had the mattress replaced same day within hours of us informing him. This is located on a dead end street so quiet. The only issue was the VRBO site had links you needed to open for more info like the apartment number and those links would not open on my IPhone 11. But the owner was there and got us set up. Helped with unpacking the car and directed us where to park which was just 1/2 block away. We stayed 5 days to go to Boston Calling music festival. Close to where ever you want to go. highly recommend and would stay again.

Nice touches

My daughter and I enjoyed our weekend stay in this property. After long day of travel, it was really nice to walk into perfect dim lighting and classical music playing softly. Made for a very welcoming and cozy experience. Super clean and very nice details like Nest shampoo and soaps. They have done such a nice job with the decor and lighting. Perfect for my daughter and me and I was pleasantly surprised by the inflatable mattress in the pullout! It was so comfortable and worked great! Our only recommendation would be to invest in or two cozy throw blankets :-). Very very quiet street. The weather didn’t cooperate but the bus we did take was an easy walk. We would definitely stay again. Thank you for the nice accommodations!

Girls week

My two daughters and I had the most wonderful time. We were able to catch the T and go where ever we wanted by using the T. I would suggest that there be good maps to help get around but you can pick those up just about anywhere.

Great Location

Fort Hill Inn was a great place to stay for our family of three. Great location. The Orange Line was down all but one day of our stay. However, we walked the majority of the time, and we were within walking distance to most everywhere we wanted to visit. The cute historic apartment was comfortable. There is a really cool loft area that could totally fit maybe a double and could be really fun for a kid. Just a thought. Terry was really quick to respond if we needed anything. Great communication. Next time we're in Boston, we plan on staying here again.

Girls trip with my daughter

We arrived on a Saturday and the property was perfect just as described. Very quiet neighborhood. On Sunday we had an issue with the shower not working, and Terrance immediately answered my message and fixed the problem. Would definitely stay there again.

Great unit in a convenient location

Modern conveniences and New England charm

Great access to public transportation in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. There was room to spread out, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom and shower worked great. Our hosts took the time to do the little things to ensure our first visit to Boston was most enjoyable. They provided all the information we needed and were super responsive to any question we had. I would definitely stay here again!

3 Night Family Stay

This is a nice little apartment in a quiet neighborhood. My husband, our 6 year old son and I stayed here for 3 nights in June. It was the perfect amount of space for us with a small living room, dinning room and kitchen. The bedroom is very small with most of the space taken up by the bed. This was fine for us but something to consider if you are looking for more space to move around. Our 6 year old son slept on the pull out couch. The mattress is very thin and we could feel the bars of the couch under it. It would be fine for a small child but anyone larger would find it uncomfortable. Our son did experience trouble with his allergies while sleeping there. We contacted the host about the issue so check with him first before booking if you are concerned. The apartment is about 30 minutes on the T from places that we visited (aquarium, science museum). It was a quick walk to the station but once we were out for the day we found it too far to come back to the apartment. It may be easier to stay closer to downtown with small children.

Peaceful place

We liked being away from the bustle of the city in this very charming apartment. Also,it was just an 8 minute drive to Newberry Street with all the great shopping and restaurants! Terrance, the host answered any questions we had right away.

Great location and fun apartment

We loved staying at this apartment. The check in process was so easy and we always found parking on Linwood street. It also always smelled so good coming into the apartment! Thank you for a wonderful place to stay for our girls weekend!
