We had a great time - the house was perfect for six adults. We loved hanging out by the pool. We saw a lot of animals just from the yard - looking into the trees beyond the property - howler monkeys, sloth, iguanas, and toucans. We were unlucky to get a lot of days of pouring rain so that put a damper on activities, but still enjoyed ourselves. The house is great and the host very helpful and responsive.

This house was nice for the area. We saw some much wildlife in the backyard. The pool was nice. The beds were comfortable. It was nice to have air conditioning, and they include a complimentary laundry service which was helpful. The host was easy to communicate with. The beach is a short walk away with a private gate to enter it, but the path to that beach is very muddy during the rainy season and so walking down the road to the more public beach entrance might be preferable. This is still really close to the property. It was a nice location for exploring the Caribbean coast, close to all the beach towns.

The house was very clean and comfortable and just as pictured. The backyard was a true oasis. We spent most of our time there when not out exploring. Ricardo and Martha were excellent hosts. Very quick to respond to any enquiries and offered great recommendations for activities, restaurants, etc. Overall we had a great stay.

The location was fantastic! Easy walk to the beach, close to town with delicious restaurants and clean grocery store. The Villa was amazing- kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking. We spent most of our time int the gorgeous pool!!

Everything about this house, the location, the gardens, and the pool are perfection. I have rented many homes over the years and my entire group agreed that this property is one of our favorites of all time. The pictures do not do it justice. Don’t waiver, just book it!!!

Our family of 4 (two kids under 12, two adults) had a fantastic 1 week stay at Villa Aragón in mid-August! The property had everything we wanted for a beautiful, restful, and comfortable home base as we explored the local area or spent time there relaxing, playing in the pool, cooking, or gazing out the windows, watching and listening to wildlife or waiting for rain to pass. The Aragón family was incredibly helpful and easy to communicate with! Per the family's recommendation, we had Chef Ashton prepare an incredible dinner for us, received excellent in-home massage from Novelty Spa Puerto Viejo, and had an awesome tour of Cahuita National Park from Tirza and Enrique of Life, Culture, and Travel. We were a little unlucky with a couple days of heavy rain during our stay, which revealed a blocked rain gutter that led to a bit of indoor leaking - as with everything during our stay (a cleaning refresh, laundry, questions...), Ricardo was very responsive and helpful. Our family enjoyed the drama of the tropical weather that's so common/everyday there and had a good time in both the rain and the sunshine. We LOVED walking to the beautiful nearby black sand beach. Although the current patterns there are definitely tricky, it was shallow and gentle enough for us to spend long play sessions in the sand and waves. The property was easy to access, secure, communication with the hosts was very smooth, and we felt very grateful we got to stay in such a lovely place. We hope to return!!

Terrific Puerto Viejo Property

This is a wonderful vacation home! Private, super clean, with comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen an amazing pool and grounds, and very helpful owners who went out of their way to make our stay amazing.

Beautiful vacation

We had a wonderful time at Villa Aragon! It felt like a true oasis in the jungle and close access to the black sand beach. A 30 minute walk to town, it was such a great location! The hosts were fabulous and very quick to respond. We will be back!

Puerto Viejo Getaway

We had a great time at the Villa. Richardo was prompt and made check-in and check-out easy. Property is private and secure. Well-stocked kitchen. Lots to do near by.

We spent one week at Villa Aragon and it was amazing. Having the private pool was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Having air conditioning throughout the home was a huge bonus. The location works great as a home base for exploring the Caribbean Side of Costa Rica from Tortuguero National Park, Cahuita National Park, Gandoca-Manzanillo National Refuge and all the awesome beaches in between. We saw howler monkeys, poison dart frog, toucans and parrots right at the property. We saw sloths, spider monkeys, mackaws and lots of other wildlife on this vacation. The Caribbean side of Costa Rica and especially Villa Aragon did not disappoint. We would come back in a heartbeat and hope to do so.

Beautiful yard and. Pool area

Had a great 10 days at Casa Aragon. Wonderful yard and pool area. Short walk to the black sand beach. Short drive to grocery stores and restaurants. Highly recommended this home

Wonderful Experience

My family and I stayed at this beautiful home. Everything was so welcoming and enjoyable. The pool was fantastic and the beach was a short walk. If you want a clean, comfortable, and safe place to stay, I highly recommend booking this property. Location is minutes to everything!

Great experience at Puerto Viejo

This house is perfect for family or friends vacations. It is very clean and fully equipped in every way: kitchen, bathrooms, pool and beach accessories. Martha and her staff are always willing to help and assist you in a timely, friendly, and very professional way. Definitely recommend staying here, it will be my first option when returning to Puerto Viejo :)

This Home Made All The Difference For Our Stay!!!

Marta has built a truly beautiful space, and is a wonderful hostess! She responds very quickly and provided exceptional suggestions for our stay in Puerto Viejo!!! We loved this home so much. There's plenty to explore in the surrounding community. When not exploring, it is the perfect little oasis for a swim, siesta or overall tranquility. We can't wait to come back!!!

Wonderful House

The house is a beautiful home to get some relaxation in. The host was extremely easy to work with as well as very responsive. The house was very clean & set up nice for family time. The pool was a great way to cool off. All in all, this home is awesome! Definitely recommend if staying on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica!

Amazing!

Nothing short of perfection here! The hosts were extremely helpful to our group! We had the pleasurable experiences of the chef Ashton and a Cahuita tour with Carlos. The house was exactly as pictured. Toucans, lizards, sloths and howler monkeys all in the neighborhood or yard! Magical and unforgettable!

Our own little resort.....

There is nothing like the excitement of walking in to our vrbo for the first time. Villa Aragon blew my family away. Particularly the back yard. Absolutely gorgeous. The pool is a good size.Ale and Francisco were dedicated to ensuring our visit went well and it did.Beds are comforable. Kitchen stocked. Green and black poison dart frogs come out in the rain.
