Mitra - I am sorry to hear about your negative experience. The pine tree located in front of our condo has branches trimmed halfway up to provide for beautiful panoramic views of the lake from the first floor. The branches on the upper floors provide privacy and much needed shade during the summer months. Our condo is deep cleaned for several hours between each guest including thorough disinfecting of all surfaces (extra attention to high touch surfaces), floors, and linens. The photos on our listing clearly depict the furniture in each room, all of which are functional and clean. No where on our listing do we indicate that we will provide a hair dryer, the one in the drawer is provided as a courtesy. I was not notified the garbage disposal was not working properly. Had I known, would have gladly repaired a convenient time for you. On the issue of the carpets, we had them cleaned in June and do sincerely apologize that they were stained from guests who visited before you. We have the carpets cleaned every few months and spot treated in between each guest. I do not live in the immediate area and rely on housekeeping to assess the condition of the property between each guest. When I shared that I didn’t realize the carpets had been stained I was being truthful, as it had not been brought to my attention. I was very disappointed to learn that you brought a dog with you when our listing clearly indicates no pets are allowed. I am charged a daily fee by our homeowners association if a guest on the property brings a dog and found it quite disrespectful to me as an owner. I would advise moving forward that you take special care in reviewing and following the rules on property listings. As displayed in all of our other reviews, it is of utmost importance to us that we provide each and every guest a personal, friendly experience and a beautiful, clean property to share with their loved ones. Our condo is truly one of a kind, especially in our complex: one of only 6 lakefront units, only unit with entry from top level, enclosed Florida porch, end unit with privacy, and the list goes on.
