We’ve stayed at this property multiple times and continue to come back because we really love it. The location on this particular stretch of beach is wonderful, and the property is always exceptionally clean and well maintained. The town itself has such a fun, retro Florida feel, which is part of what keeps bringing us back. Great for younger kids as the waters are pretty calm. Occasionally you can see dolphins right there where you're swimming to the enjoyment of everyone on the beach. Gravy retirement style community so not really a party town which was what we wanted. The one improvement we’d really appreciate is having fans available for guests, especially in the third-floor bedrooms. Those rooms get a lot of sun during the day and can become very warm and stuffy at night, even with the air conditioning. A simple portable or standing fan in each bedroom would make a huge difference for airflow and sleeping comfort. A lot of times we had to migrate down to the couches to feel cooler at night. Overall, we had another great stay and look forward to our next visit!

Thank you so much for your continued loyalty and for choosing to stay with us multiple times! We’re thrilled to hear that you continue to enjoy the beautiful beach location, exceptionally clean property, and the relaxed, old-Florida feel of the area. It’s wonderful to know the calm waters and occasional dolphin sightings have made your stays especially enjoyable for your family. We also really appreciate your thoughtful suggestion about having fans available in the third-floor bedrooms. We understand how warm those rooms can become after a sunny day, and we agree that additional airflow could make a noticeable difference in nighttime comfort. We’ll be sure to share this recommendation with the owner for consideration. Thank you again for the kind words and valuable feedback. We’re looking forward to welcoming you back for your next visit!

Loved the location and house. We did have some mechanical issues the second floor bathroom which was the nicest had a leak in plumbing for the shower so it dripped through to kitchen area. We worked with rental property management but made the bathroom unusable for our stay. We had a few other issues however the mechanic came and fixed those issues promptly.

Thank you for your review and for sharing your experience. We’re so glad to hear you loved the house and its location. We do sincerely apologize for the plumbing issue in the second-floor bathroom and understand how disappointing it was to have that bathroom become unusable during your stay. We appreciate your patience and cooperation while working with our property management team. While we’re glad our maintenance staff was able to respond quickly and resolve the other issues you encountered, we recognize that the bathroom leak impacted your overall experience. Thank you for your understanding and for bringing these matters to our attention. Your feedback helps us continue improving the property, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a seamless stay on your next visit.

Great Get Away Rental!

This was a great vacation property - it was extremely clean and very well stocked in a nice Key West/beach style right on the spacious soft sandy beach. Master bed was extremely comfortable. Enjoyed our stay on the beach and the house accommodated our needs. The down side was that there were no Hand Rails on any of the steps going to the 2nd & 3rd floors, and garage doors didn’t work and were partially open. To say it accommodates 14 people and have minimal spaces for cars was hard. I’m sure this had something to do with the last hurricane and that they are still in the fixing stages. But would have been nice if we were told ahead of time. Once these items are fixed it will be a nice place to stay.

The location made this vacation everything we expected! We had small children and the trek to the beach and back was a delight and able to be done all day, every day! Perfect vacation in paradise!

We throughly enjoyed having the convenience of having the beach and pool in such close proximity to the beach house. My two small children would go back and forth all day pool and beach and it made it a stress free vacation, thus maximum enjoyment was achieved. Additionally being from Tampa I can attest that Sunset Beach is still a hidden gem within our Gulf beaches. Love it!
