Hi Jillian, thank you for your feedback! We are happy to hear you enjoyed the location. I’m sorry to hear about the dishes and utensils. We will relay this to our housekeeping team so they can be more vigilant while putting dishes away. Our pool is treated and cleaned every Tuesday. The above ground pools do not have a filtration system that can pull in debris from the surface so branches and debris sit at the bottom of the pool which is removed weekly by the pool tech. The pool water is safe to swim with or without debris. An above ground pool is the only option for The Stanley to protect the 350 - 450 year old oak trees that are on the property. Our mission is to roll out the red welcome mat for our guests and it's clear we missed the ball on your stay. We have refunded you for a portion of your stay with us. We hope to have the opportunity to host you in the future and show you what The Lodgewell experience is all about.
