Well nice and cozy cabin. Walking distance to Boulder Bay. Me and my kids enjoyed our stay very much.

Great Weekend Getaway Spot

Location and privacy is great. Perfect weekend getaway cabin to stay at with the family.

Loved all the big trees, outdoor ambiance, privacy, but has a steep long winding driveway. Nice deck with a tiny view of lake. Patio furniture needs updating. Very nice small two story cabin in a favorite location area - Boulder Bay. Was perfect for two adults. Nice kitchen with full bath off kitchen. Kind of weird arrangement. Upstairs Sleeping area was a weird layout too. The King bedroom was wall to wall bed. And you had to walk thru the 1st bedroom to get there. Queen bed had less than a foot to walk around bed. No night stands. The upstairs half bath had no mirror to shave, put on make-up, brush your teeth, etc.. No privacy between two bedrooms. We did sleep well with this arrangement. Having a 2nd bedroom with another couple would be very unpleasant.

Great little cabin

Small but perfect for our needs. Nice natural area behind. Interior of the cabin was clean. We did not use much of the amenities provided, but everything we needed was there. Two beds upstairs, but both seemed to be doubles. Check-in was ok but a little inconvenient that we had to contact them first. All in all a nice place to stay.

The location was very good. Boulder Bay across the street and a few restaurants within walking distance. We had some issues with the smell of the place and it was reported to the management company. If you are looking for quiet this is not the place. Big Bear Blvd is at the end of the shared driveway and was very noisy especially on the weekends. The driveway is very steep and when we were there the neighbors who shared the driveway had renovations happening and often the driveway was blocked. Three times contractors with trailers could not back down the driveway and had to drive up to the cabin and turn around behind it so they could drive back down the driveway. Each time they would knock on the door and I would have to move my car. There was only one mirror in the entire place, in the downstairs bathroom. Also the 2nd bedroom headboard was leaning against the wall in the 1st bedroom over the dresser. The master bed though, was very comfortable and it was lovely being up against National Forest.
