The home was comfortable and clean! Bedrooms were as advertised, bathrooms up to date, and the living areas were large enough for five people to comfortably live. The management was very responsive when I had questions and they helped resolve any issues that came up. The location was great, both for exploring the Adams-Morgan neighborhood and sightseeing on the mall. Very quiet neighborhood, no street traffic, and easy to get to grocery store! We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Charming and spacious for a house in the middle of everything. A pleasant walk through Rock Creek park to get the Woodley Park metro. Bus stops also a few blocks away. Perfect for not having a car. Hosts were very responsive. Bathrooms newly redone and everything worked perfectly as did appliances and HVAC. One of best rentals of this size I've ever stayed in. Would definitely stay again.

Clean property. all was as described. only issue was electric outlet did not work in hall bathroom and stove igniters didnt work but owner did let us know how to use the lighter to manually light it.

Wonderful place!

This property was clean, easy to use, and super well-located. I felt that everything that we needed was right there and provided.

2 weeks in cold Dec and Jan

Great location but parking difficult. Superhero reservation at colonial garage (10 minute walk) not recommended, no in and out. Well decorated. Nice showers. Kitchen and dining room cold.

An Eclectic DC Gem

The property was very stylish, full of interring objects from around the world, yet still felt relaxed and comfortable. The property was very clean and well stocked. Out only issue was parking (we did not realize just how difficult DC parking was) but the owner had useful suggestions that made the experience less fraught. Neighbor was great and many restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay again.

Nice house, all essentials there. Floor lamp in living room needs replacing, on/ off knob broken off. Could use another indirect light source. Front upstairs bath needs a trash basket, bedrooms as well. Small issues, but important. Stay was delightful.

Great DC Option For Visit

This home was an outstanding value. Rooms and beds were comfortable. Amenities were great. Perfect arrangement for a family. WiFi was great. If driving, recommend understanding the parking situation. It was a major issue for us. Parking is at a premium. Property owner will not allow the use of the garage onsite. Street parking is the only option and it is crowded and restricted. Uber or a long walk to the Metro is best option. Garages will give you a deal, but expect to pay an additional $80 to $120 for the week to garage a car without the in and out privileges plus the Uber costs to get back and forth. Best bet. Uber and Metro and leave the car behind if possible.

Nice property - inaccurate listing and poorly managed

We rented the home via VRBO, but the property is managed by a third party that runs it like a cheap motel rather than a welcoming home. The first sign of this was when we asked if there were extra pillows and towels and received an email that made us feel like we were being cross examined for asking what seemed like a normal request. The next day they sent the pillows but no towels. When I asked again they apologized and sent the towels a day later with some Prosecco and chocolate to compensate (hence the three star review instead of two) The listing claimed that the property had three bathrooms- one with a bathtub and two with showers. But there was only one full bathroom with a tub, one with a shower and another with just a toilet. I pointed this out but they made no attempt to adjust what they were charging despite the fact that their description (and what had lead us to rent the place) was wrong. The place was not cleaned properly- there were dust balls under the beds and radiators. Checkout time was one of the earliest I’ve seen at 10:30 AM. and they threaten you with extra charges if you are delayed. We have never stayed in a place where we felt so unwelcome. The house is in a lovely neighborhood, has an interesting collections of curios/artwork/books from various parts of the world that lends to the charm. - and is pretty convenient to access most points of interest. A better management company could probably make this work but for now I would not recommend.

We loved our stay at this property. It’s in a quiet neighborhood with tree lined streets. There are some steep steps to get to the front door and stairs inside. We managed that fine, but if that’s a concern for you it might be an issue. We slept well and loved having 2 1/2 bathrooms. All the toiletries and kitchen items are there for use. If you’re coming to DC to see the touristy stuff around the national mall, you need to know that you will need to take the bus or train to get there. The closest Metro station for the train is about 1/2 mile away, so you have to plan a 10-15 minute walk to get there. There are bus stops much closer. A trip to that area from this house is about 40 minutes total (walking and Metro train service combined). The bus trip would be about 20-25 minutes (walking and riding bus). All are easy to navigate and we used them daily. We did not rent a car. So, overall, a great stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would recommend it to others visiting the DC area.P.s. the host was very easy to communicate with via email and stayed in touch with me before and during our stay.

We had a great stay and would absolutely recommend this property. The location was excellent—close to the Metro, making it easy to get around Washington, DC, while still being situated in a quiet, pleasant neighborhood. The house itself was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for our family to spread out and relax.Everything we needed was provided, and the home was well-equipped for our stay. We especially appreciated having a comfortable place to return to after long days of sightseeing. Overall, this was a fantastic home base for exploring DC, and we would gladly stay here again.

Beautiful House in Beautiful Neighborhood

The house was so spacious and easy to live in and find everything. All the amenities were inlcuded and in great working condition. The house was spotless and comfortable. We really enjoyed the neighborhood and the walk to the zoo and lots of great restaurants! Gorgeous decor inside the house but the house was still VERY child friendly.
