Wonderful home. Hosts were great, welcoming and informative. The location of the property can’t be beat! Could watch the sea for hours from the deck. Saw lots of seals, some sharks, and met lots of local fishermen. Really enjoyed the pool. I hope visitors take the opportunity to learn about the Lummi nation while visiting. Everyone we met was very welcoming. Lots to do In Bellingham and lummi island on cloudy days. Would love to come back!

Our family had a lovely stay at this beachfront property. Our granddaughter practically lived in the pool. The owners provided a great selection of pool toys and float chairs. We all enjoyed the beach and the magnificent sunsets. The property was exactly as pictured. The kitchen was well equipped, beds comfy and the couch was phenomenal. We are hoping to return next year and make this an annual family event. Many thanks!

This location was incredible for our 18th annual Friendsmas trip, which we take 1-2 weeks after Christmas. Eight friends on a long weekend getaway made good use of the spacious living area, hot tub and walks on the beach. Margaret was a wonderful host and we'd gladly return!

What a fantastic house and host! There were seven of us, all told, between 45 and 81 years old, and the house was perfect for our holiday together. We enjoyed walking the beach, watching the storms, sitting in the hot tub and so much more. Thank you, Margaret!

Amazing view and a pool is what makes this place great. The sunsets were on point and we even saw Orcas. The host was so kind and there are pretty flowers all over the property.

We had a lovely stay here. The host was extremely responsive and the neighbor was super helpful and kind. The beach is not very busy and was so beautiful. The house had a few quirks - like a fishy smelling fridge/freezer and some ants in the kitchen but I would stay here over and over again. I can’t wait to visit again.

House was very clean and as pictured. Coffee was helpfully provided. The view is beautiful, and we're sure warm weather would make the pool and the waterfront both very fun. It was chilly out when we stayed, so we were more focused on indoor time, the hot tub, and a few trips into Bellingham. The home has some issues related to maintenance or the age of things. The garbage disposal simply did not work, several lights in the home did not work, the outdoor lights for the front driveway did not work, and one of the bathrooms had a patched-in replacement light/fan that we could not get to consistently work. The bigger issue for our cool weather stay was the hot tub, which apart from being dated also simply quit working. Hosts offered an electrician, but that would have been after our stay ended and was therefore not really helpful. We eventually discovered a reset button within a maintenance access panel on the hot tub, that got the jets working again, but we had already missed the opportunity for that night. If that is a known issue with the tub, it should not have been up to us to miss a night of hot tub and then figure it out ourselves. So the house is as described, clean, and reasonably well stocked. But the longer-term maintenance issues mean the house is showing its age in ways that were inconvenient and sometimes frustrating for us. But if you got the right warm weekend in the summer, the view and the water here are undeniably great.

This place is fantastic!!! The location right on the water is magical, and a perfect spot for catching some beautiful sunsets. The pool and hot tub were great, and make sure you’ve got an option for swimming no matter the weather. The house has everything you could need - a really well stocked kitchen, pool towels, massive dining table for a big group, lots of outdoor seating, a hammock and pool toys! We stayed as a group of 3 couple and it was perfect for us. And being pet friendly was so great as we could bring our doggos. Our host, Margaret, was so promptly communicative and helpful, and very kindly gave us a late check out as other bookings allowed. I truly cannot rate our stay here highly enough! I will definitely be back!

Can't beat the sunsets

Had a great time. The main room/kitchen area is amazing. Plenty of room to feed a large group and the kitchen was well stocked. Bedrooms are pretty small and one is a loft that gets pretty hot. I think the host might be fairly new at this as they didn't have basic items on hand like pods for the coffee machine. All toghether, A great time.

Our immediate family booked this home for a long weekend get away. The house fit our needs perfectly with a large open living room plan, good sized kitchen and large dining room table, which also worked for all of the games we played while there. The bedrooms were sufficient for the 5 adults that were present and the upstairs loft worked well for my 2 teenage nieces. Tall adults might struggle sleeping there due to the lower slanted ceiling, but my nieces stated they had no issues. The view is spectacular as well. We walked the beach, sat in the hot tub which was perfect on a cold fall day. Large out door deck, nicely stocked kitchen and linen closet for towels and extra blankets if needed. Plenty of places to sit in the living room with a large section couch and secondary couches . The gas fire place kept the house nicely heated. Our dog Em also enjoyed being welcomed.Would definitely consider coming back to this house again, and possibly a bit earlier in the season to enjoy the pool.Only complaint, perhaps a larger, brighter light over the dining room table would be nice for when playing games at night, but it did not stop us from playing.
Beach view to the left of the house.
Beach view to the right of the house.
High tide.

We had an excellent summer vacation here. 3 generations spending a week together. Pictures are true to the place. Swimming pool is great. Location is perfect for sun exposure, sunsets and swimming in the ocean morning and night. Loved all the different options for sitting outside on various decks, and lots of pretty flowerpots. This is an amazing playground for kids of all ages with the beach right there. Kitchen has all the pots and pans you need for cooking for a crowd and the dining table fits a lot of people. Lots of surfaces for boardgames, lounging in sofas and relaxing. The place is not fancy but it's very functional and it's a great place for a cozy, fun family getaway, just an hour from Vancouver. We loved it. There is a good set up with a very large screen for movie nights but we didn't use it.Owners are quick to respond and took very good care of all our needs, from baby bed to coffee grinder to suggestions for bike rides.

Beach Gem 💎

There aren’t enough words to express how much my family, friends and I loved this home. It was absolutely perfect. Im definitely wanting to book it again next summer. We made so many fantastic memories… swimming in the pool, playing 4th of July Olympics in the lawn, searching for shells and treasures on the beach and just sitting my the fire listening to music. The house fit our family perfectly. It was me and my kids for the first few days, which different groups of friends coming for the day to play, and then my husband spent the last half of the week up there with us and we enjoyed the best 4th of July fireworks and then our 10th wedding anniversary. Walmart delivered groceries, pizza was able to deliver and there are a handful of yummy restaurants about 15-20 min away in the harbor of Bellingham. If you book this home- please take the best care of it. It’s a very special place.

The house has an excellent waterfront with beautiful sunsets. The kitchen is fully equipped and has an outside gas grill. Only cons I had was the low house beams, I am 6’7” and must have hit my head a dozen times. Water in the pool was a bit on the cool side. Overall the family enjoyed the property.Les
