This beautiful, modern apartment is perfectly located on the vibrant, lively Degraves Str - Experience the Melbourne laneway coffee and bar culture at your doorstep. Paris end shopping, tourist sights, Flinders Street Station, Art Centre, free city tram and anything else you could ask for are few steps away.

The space
The apartment is in an old building with a great vibe and atmosphere. "Mutual Store" once used to be Melbourne's first department store with all of its glory. The 2BR apartment is spacious with very high ceilings. It is beautifully furnished and well maintained. The floors, bathroom and kitchen have been recently updated. You have fresh sheets and towels at your disposal.

There is a queen bed in the master bedroom. The second bedroom has two single beds. In the living room there is a double couch bed.

Getting Around

The apartment is across the street from Flinders Street station from where several trains to various suburbs depart. The tram (several lines) including free city tram is at your doorstep. Everything you need is within walking distance so there is no need for a car.

Wow and Wonderful
We stayed a week at this laneway apartment and wished we could have stayed another week! It was simply the ideal location. We loved the high ceilings in this apartment. The decor was nice and inviting. It had a fine kitchen for making simple meals (and with so many restaurants around we found that we ate out more than expected). Access to shops and to transit was exceptional. Simply loved our stay.

2 bed apartment in heart of CBD
Very convenient location. You're in a lane full of cafes and restaurants just near Flinders St Stn. The building is a converted department store. The apartment is comfortable and well appointed. It has high ceilings so doesn't feel small. Some reviews commented it can be noisy at night or in the mornings. There is noise at times, but it's occasional. That's the trade off for the location, which is hard to beat.

Great location!
Great stay here with wife and 2 teenagers. Property is clean, comfortable and convenient. May seem noisy if you’re not used to city life but not at all if you are. Highly recommend for a trip into the city of Melbourne.
