This cozy home away from home has everything you need for a comfortable stay in Berkeley for a few days or for a few weeks.

Amenities and surroundings include: Lovely living room area (decorated with art by local artists) with a smart TV and a table for both dining and working. New beautiful bathroom and a contemporary brand new, fully equipped kitchen that has a microwave, a refrigerator, an oven, a stove and a washer/dryer. The entrance to the apartment is separate and private.

Enjoy charming outdoor seating with a fabulous view of the San Francisco Bay complete with an herb garden which tea drinkers and cooks are welcome to enjoy.

Walking distance to: Berkeley’s “Gourmet Ghetto” on Shattuck Ave., Solano Avenue shopping and boutiques, and easy access to beautiful hiking trails. Only a 20 minute walk or 7 minute bus ride to downtown Berkeley (the bus stop is just a few steps from the house), and the University of California at Berkeley is just 1.5 miles away. For those with cars, convenient street parking is always available.

The apartment fits two people comfortably. You will be welcomed with homemade baked goods and wine.

All good. Well stocked kitchen. Clean. Every thing you need for a short stay. Climbing 2 flights of stairs might be difficult for some. The lock box could use some wd40. It was not always easy to open. We would definitely come back.

Loved our stay in the Berkeley Hills. Very comfortable bed and pillows, lovely linens, cozy and flexible space. Sweet to be greeted in person by Tal and shown around, along with a bottle of wine and a fresh cake! Liked that there was a full kitchen set up and games - we were out so much that we didn't have much chance to take advantage of those, but that meant we were enjoying the area. I'd say laundry is helpful in a pinch, but two-in-washer/dryers don't work super well in general. Not a big deal - a plus if needed and maybe not something I'd count on using again if we return. Would stay here again for sure - thank you!

Yes the hosts were very communicative and welcoming. Lovely fresh cake, wine and chocolates upon arrival. I would only caution future guests that there are step stairs leading to the studio. It would not be appropriate for someone with mobility issues.

It is a beautiful cosy studio with all the amenities, the outside table is a nice bonus and there is also a view of the bay from the porch!There have nice kitchen appliances and utensils.The hosts are very caring and brought us a delicious treat.The bus stop is in front of the house if you want to explore further.We would certainly come back, I would highly recommend it.
