Luxurious apartment with everything we needed for a few nights in Ghent. The sliding doors out into the garden are a lovely design feature.

Great accommodation in a beautiful city. The location of the property is superb and the amenities in the apartment are fantastic. One small issue with connecting to some of the appliances but this was sorted with speed from the property owner. Highly recommend the property and the city. A fabulous few days. This charming and quirky accommodation is a true gem, offering a perfect blend of comfort, style, and convenience. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the unique and creative decor that gives the space so much character. It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into making this hideaway both stylish and welcoming. The facilities are top-notch, with standout features including a luxurious hot tub and a soothing sauna. These were perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the city. The attention to detail in providing everything you might need during your stay is impressive. The location is another major plus. Being close to the tram line made it incredibly easy to get around Ghent and explore all the wonderful sights the city has to offer. Despite being so well-connected, the hideaway itself remains a peaceful retreat, giving us the best of both worlds. Finally, the hosts were fantastic. Communication was seamless from start to finish. They were incredibly responsive, helpful, and genuinely cared about ensuring we had a great stay. Their local tips and recommendations added a special touch to my visit. Overall, Shantay Hideaway is a delightful place to stay. Whether you’re in Ghent for a short visit or a longer stay, we highly recommend it. We can’t wait to return!

A superb holiday rental with friends. Excellent hosts and the property is well located for lots of walks and also easy access to Bruges, Gent etc

A big thank you to Annelies and Filip for creating such a wonderful and relaxing ‘home from home’, offering everything we needed, together with some thoughtful additional luxuries. This was our first visit to Belgium and the house was perfectly situated for visits to Bruges and Ghent, as well as being near to the beaches. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this peaceful location, watching the farmers working in the fields around the house and exploring the walking routes just outside the door. We would highly recommend this property.

We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad hier. Erg mooi en gezellig ingericht huis. Omgeving is mooi en rustig. Genoeg te doen binnen een korte reisafstand. Saskia is er vriendelijk en gezellig. Kortom voor herhaling vatbaar voor ons.
