We’ve stayed in a few places in Gullane and this didn’t disappoint. A really brilliant location, great facilities and dog friendly which is always a winner with our 2 spaniels who loved the garden especially when they found tennis balls!

We travel a lot and this property was probably the best we have been to. Immaculately clean, beautifully presented, lovely secure garden and amazing location for golf/exploring. Elie is quaint, peaceful and an absolutely delight. Our stay honestly couldn’t have been better, worthy of every five star rated!

We arrived after hellish drive up from
Somerset with grandparents, young adults, and lively dogs and settled immediately. Good quality places with everything we needed, quiet, with easy access to beautiful beaches, history, Edinburgh and North Berwick.

Good location for going into East Linton, Haddington and Edinburgh. We used this farmhouse as a base for house hunting during our stay using it like our home; cooking on the wonderful Aga (what a treat!), enjoying meals around the large dining table and retreating to the living room with a good book, a fire and drinks. The rooms are nicely appointed as are the bathrooms equipped with nice overhead rain and handheld shower heads. Never used the footed tub but it looked lovely. Nice forest walk on the property and the wild flower meadow nearby but the area lacks public rights-of-ways path to the local villages which requires walking the roads. We had a lot of rain showers during our stay and the farmhouse offered a cozy retreat. All in all a great stay for us and we highly recommend.

We visited North Berwick to meet long lost relatives. The accommadation was perfect in many ways. No traffic or train noise, clean with all the amenities expected. An easy walk to the shops and harbour. Must visit again
