Enjoyed our stay, cottage is welcoming and attention to detail appreciated. Very clean and everything you need is thought of. Garden is nice and well kept. Only down side is having no parking, but owner has arranged parking at nearby water park, but this was a little problematic for us. There is quite a bit of road noise as it’s on a relatively busy road, but maybe we notice it more as we live in a very rural location with no traffic and are not used to it. But would def stay again, thank you.
I stayed her beginning of May 2025. Booking was quick and simple. Received a lot of communication from Vrbo and owners of caravan. Access to caravan was easy and hassle free. Loved the caravan like a home from home. Loads of cupboard space in the bedrooms and the double bedroom had quite a toilets with a large sink which was handy. My only criticism is that even though the mattress was comfortable the actual beds felt unstable at times. Also the sofa mattress needs replacing. It’s quite thin where we felt the bars and had some stains on it. The location is very remote so you will need a car to get you in and out of the park. The caravan itself was close to the beach and also the park entertainment however we did not use it. In terms of restaurants there not much within walking distance but in the car is about 10-15min. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
Very well appointed and located - pretty wrap around garden with sun at different times of day- close to jetty where grandsons loved crabbing and yummy unpretentious seafood restaurants.Only reservation for some could be 2 flights of steep stairs to 2 of 3 bedrooms with only bathroom and loo downstairs— but cottage dates from 1575 so don’t expect en-suites! - what you do get is character and comfort.
First time visiting St osyth beach park. Due to where we was situated in Driftwood it was easier to drive through the alternate entry/exit Martello side which is also where the shop is located. Short walk to the Sailor boy pub, amusements and st osyth market which my kids always enjoy even though they are older teens. The park itself was great really clean and the buildings looked new (restaurant bar swimming pool etc) I’ve visited the other caravan parks near by and would never go to them again! Children were well behaved, dog owners very respectful and we felt really safe. Other families left bikes and toys etc out over night and no one touched them. Would definitely visit again
