Lartigue Monorail and Museum holiday lettings

It wasnt just any stay at any old holiday cottage. Kilbaha is and will always be an experience with that sense of adventute and wonderment.

We stayed at the second property on the site, Lavender Lane Cottage, which was a lovely newly refurbished 200 year old cottage. It had three double bedrooms(one upstairs) an open plan kitchen, dining area and living area which was all minimalistic but modern and had every amenity we needed for our stay (Con even left us tea/coffee/bread and milk) We felt at home straightaway and all said we could live there. The bathroom was again modern in an old worldly setting, with plenty of hot water and heating when required. Our host Con went out of his way to make us feel welcome and even arranged for a patio area with seating, so we could take in the beautiful scenery with our morning coffee and evening glass of wine. The sunsets and sunrises were amazing. We had full views across the countryside. There is also parking for your car/ hire car. We would recommend this cottage and would love to stay again. Lovely house with fantastic views and a pub just down the road. Everything you need in the house and all bedrooms being ensuite certainly made mornings easier. Bring a bike if you can as the greenway is on your doorstop. Short drive to Dingle, killarney and fabulous beach at Banna or just enjoy the outside space.

Owner was extremely kind & made us feel most welcome. Thought of everything that a visitor would need and very informative about the cottage & things to do and see locally. A very well restored thatched cottage (you can tell alot of work has went into it). Stunning view across the valley. Central for sights that we wanted to visit in Co.Kerry. Only thing I would advise is that stairs are steep to upstairs bedrooms (2 bedrooms upstairs & other 2 bedrooms are on ground level). We were fine as we were more than able but something to consider maybe if you are elderly. Superb stay & would highly recommend the cottage to family & friends.

Fabulous! Well equipped clean and comfortable cottage. Peaceful and relaxing with beautiful gardens. Breda and Shaun are very kind and welcoming hosts. Very highly recommended! Definitely 5 star

We have just returned from 1 week in Rowan House and can say we had the best week ever. The house exceeded expectations with everything you could want from a huge kitchen /diner, big family living room, 2 bathrooms.& lots of safe outside space suitable for kids of all ages The house had lots of board games for rainy days, lovely well equipped bedrooms and was set in the countryside which we loved. You will need a car as the house is well off the main road but we wanted somewhere quiet and in the middle of nature . Ann the owner was just at the end of the phone and greeted us when we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend this beautiful Kerry idyl.

Really enjoyed our stay, Michelle was always available for any queries. The house is fantastic, especially the bar / tv room. A really quiet location and great for a peaceful relaxing holiday, whilst enjoying the Guiness!!

The house and grounds were spacious and the views beautiful. we could see the sea on three sides. Every room had a lovely view to wake up to. There was a great beach not far away and we were able to make use of this as the weather held fair. It would be useful if instructions about what not to put down toilets be posted in each bathroom. We were a little put out about having to leave the house 100% clean. After paying so much for rental we thought cleaning should be included. We spent our last time there washing bins and cleaning showers which took the shine off somewhat.
