Owner was extremely kind & made us feel most welcome. Thought of everything that a visitor would need and very informative about the cottage & things to do and see locally. A very well restored thatched cottage (you can tell alot of work has went into it). Stunning view across the valley. Central for sights that we wanted to visit in Co.Kerry. Only thing I would advise is that stairs are steep to upstairs bedrooms (2 bedrooms upstairs & other 2 bedrooms are on ground level). We were fine as we were more than able but something to consider maybe if you are elderly. Superb stay & would highly recommend the cottage to family & friends.
This is a wonderful property! Donal was a wonderful host. Enjoyed listening to Jimmy’s stories. The house is beautiful with so much history. Absolutely lovely place, would definitely stay again.
Lovely, restored thatched roof cottage in beautiful scenic location. Rural setting but close to Killarney and Dingle peninsula for exploring. The house was very clean and Donal and his family were great hosts. Would definitely recommend!
This cottage was perfect for our stay. Donal was a great host, made sure we had everything we needed. His mother met us at the property when we arrived to show us around, and she made fresh scones for us as well. This is in a great location that's quiet but also not far from sites. Would 100% stay here again!
We had a wonderful time at the lovely cottage, which is very well equipped. It’s a great mixture of old and modern things. Donal, our host, was so charming and attentive, he gave us lots of good tips what to visit, he was always there when we had a question and supplied us with eggs from their own henns. His father recited his own poems for us, so we really had an original Irish experience! Thanks a lot for the super time!
