Perfect short break

The property is everything we hoped it would be, recently renovated with beautiful furniture this was a great base for us to explore the area. Please note that the description suggests that there is parking on site and this is not the case. There were however a couple of options locally that Vittorio and Francesco help sort out for us. Like anywhere on this coastline visitors need to prepare to walk up and down a few hills/stairs but with so much to see and do it is no chore at all.

Great base to explore Sorrento region

The flat is immaculately clean and very comfortable. We went in February with good weather but we still needed the heating on. The flat heating is very good. We put too many appliances on at the same time though and tripped up the whole system at 11pm on our first night. Communication was superb even this late at night, and everything was fixed within 20 minutes. Also, beware of odd Italian power sockets - only thin pin adaptors worked in the bedside sockets. We charged phones from a central socket in kitchen which accepted our fat pin adaptors. We didn’t realise our adaptors were subtly different before we faced these sockets. But the flat has both. So all good. There's an abundance of great cafés and restaurants right on the doorstep even in low season. The local supermarket is 5 minutes walk away and has everything for a quiet night in. The harbour is 15 minutes walk (with steps) and great for ferries to Napoli and Capri. The train station is 10 minutes walk and great for Pompei, and also Napoli. A great location, and one we would be happy to return to.

This apartment was excellent. It was clean, very comfortable and well equipped. The location was perfect, just a few minutes walk from the buzz of beautiful Sorrento but quiet and peaceful inside. Gorgeous sea view. Transfers organised by host worked perfectly.
