Holiday rentals near Black Mountain Ski Area

Great location close to storyland, living shores acquarium and inflatable park with arcade. Lots of restaurants near by. Our favorite thing was being close enough to hike the Diana baths trails with our 2 boys under 5. Lots of rock throwing and nature experiences. The house was great with a bunk bed in one room and a whole queen bed master loft with its own bathroom. Great host who was very accommodating and friendly. Also, the hot tub was perfect way to end the day.

We stayed at Larry and Yvonne’s beautiful cottage for 4 nights it was lovely home away from home beautiful aesthetics with lovely homely touches and very peaceful and secluded The outdoor area had amazing views over the mountains and some amazing starry skies. Larry and Yvonne were the perfect hosts and gave us lots of information on where to do the best walks. Would highly recommend staying here and would love to return one day

The cabin is very well located for visiting the white mountains . It is truly authentic log cabin experience . The cabin was well equipped and cosy and clean and tidy . Although an old cabin it had all the necessary mod cons etc Would definitely return some day

We stayed from Friday - Tuesday and wish we could have stayed longer. The area where the house is much more beautiful than the pictures, really stunning spot. Our 2 year old loved paddling in the river and watching the train go past on occasions The host Andi was super helpful as we had a power out due to the hurricane, luckily only for a few hours. Only comment is the beds are a little on the harder side, but wasn’t too much of an issue. Will look to book again for sure!

We absolutely loved our stay in this lake house, it’s exactly like the photos (if not much better!). We stayed for 3 nights. I particularly liked the raised, covered deck off the main living area. The views are incredible and it is very tranquil and serene. It was only the 3 of us but would be equally good for a couple or a group. Outside space is great, we made use of the canoes, the lake is right there so I feel you have to get out on it! In the evening we lit the fire and relaxed; it was easy to do there! We’d happily recommmend and return!
