Huercal-Overa villas

Villa was lovely and the area was exactly what we were looking for, nice and quiet but not too far away from bars and restaurants and the supermarket.

Lovely villa hosted by the fabulous Sue and Ray who looked after us superbly during our stay. We have visited Bedar many times and we thoroughly enjoyed this year at Villa Pikorua. Look forward to returning very soon.

This is a new property on the rental market. We arrived on a late flight and communication with the agent (who were excellent) meant we were able to access the property at 11pm. The property has 3 double bedrooms and sleeps six but is advertised as 7. It is also advertised as having a jacuzzi (it doesn’t) the pool is cleaned once a week by a friendly pool guy, the pool is large and has floats for visitors to use. The kitchen is incredible and has every kitchen gadget going. For those that like a coffee, it has a Nespresso pro coffee machine it use coffee discs not pods. So bring your own. There is Aircon in all bedrooms and main room. I travel a lot with my family and this is the best equipped property we have rented. And therefore worth the price. The agents I wish to also applaud. We did have cause to contact then at 10pm at night and gained a response straight away. They made our trip stress free.

A beautiful villa with everything you could need, the kids loved the pool and we had delicious meals at the restaurants on site. Only a short drive for all local amenities and enjoyed time in Mojacar for the beach and meals out too. Absolutely recommend and would love to come back again.

A real gem and as we were the very first guests in this newly renovated property we were treated to a lovely welcome basket. The villa is tastefully decorated, we spent hours in the chill-out room. The property is in the heart of the countryside but only about a 5 minute drive from town, golf and horse riding. Really enjoyed the beach tennis court and local walks from just outside the property's gate. It was 24 degrees, when back in the UK it wasn't above 10. We'll be back.

Just back from two weeks at Casa Alta Vista, the communication with both Christophe & the house managers Stuart & Natasha was excellent. The house is a very comfy home & has everything you need in the kitchen for self catering including store cupboard items. The lounge area is large with great UK TV available. Bedrooms are all comfy with great air con & clean modern bathrooms. Both the pool area & terraces offer great views of Bedar with the sea in the distance, we spent hours in & around the pool during the day & on the terrace enjoying BBQ's in the evening. In Bedar there is a great bakery for fresh bread & a well stocked supermarket & for a larger supermarket their is Mercadona in Mojacar approx 25 minute drive. We have stayed at a few villas in the last few years & this is one that we will definitely return to. Thanks for a fab holiday.

This was an amazing stay. The villa was beautiful and exceeded my expectations upon arrival. The location is rural which was perfect for us as the children can make as much noise as the liked! The seated veranda area was lovely and we enjoyed lunching there each day. We enjoyed going to Mojacar and Garrucha for dinners, both had some really nice gems. The beach at Playa de la Higuerica was the nicest we found. The villa owner Diane was so helpful before our stay and Belinda was a mazing always on hand with advice or recommendations whilst we were in Spain. The villa was the most well equipped villa I have stayed in which really made it feel like home. Beds were comfy and all rooms had Aircon. I honestly don't have a bad thing to say, can't wait to go back!

Our family of 4 had a wonderful time staying at this well presented, spacious, very clean and well equipped villa. Communication before and during our stay with the hosts was excellent. For anyone who wants to stay within walking distance to amenities the location wouldn't be suitable as most things are at least a short drive away. Otherwise, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this villa and would happily book to stay again.
